  1. Add a 'Show unread only' & 'Flagged' toggle

    Add a toggle that allows you to switch between 'All Messages', 'Unread Messages' and 'Flagged Messages' (Also allow flagging important messages).

  2. Notification edge lighting

    On the Galaxy S10 there is no notification light. I would like to see some edge lighting on the lock screen when the screen is off so I know I have a message.

  3. back up and restore settings

    I suggest you to provide the back up and restore setting service ( colours, notification settings , etc) like you supply with chomp.

  4. Move or archive messages

    Sometimes I have message threads that I don't want to repeatedly see popping up to the top of my list, yet I want to access later for reference. Please provide a way to "hide" or "archive" messages that I want to keep but not be seeing all the time.

  5. Inbox, Outbox and Sent Folder just like emails..

    It will be nice to have Inbox, Outbox and Sent folders to chatagorize nature of sms..
    Secondly...Privacy Folder is a must feature....along with Archiving feature to a customized location of choice..

    It would be great if the TeXtra interface could look like Google's message, with the material theming. It would make a more pleasant and modern look!

  9. Textra should allow for adding or removing individuals from a group...

    If a person wants to be removed from a group chat, or you want to add a person, there is no option to do anything but recreate the entire group plus/minus the individual to be added/removed. This destroys the connection AND creates an addition for confusion if peeps post on the "original" group...

  11. MMS Failure

    I have had an issue since downloading textra. I cannot send or receive and MMS. I can using the default phone app but not Textra. I have a Samsung Galaxy s9 on Telstra in Australia.

  12. Update icon to material design

    On Samsung One UI, third party app icons are shown with an "icon frame" that can't be turned off and looks tacky. please adapt your icon so that Galaxy users don't have to look at the tacky icon frame!

    make our sms encrypted, simple as that. ensure the security of our sms, add encryption or something of the sort, that would make this app the perfect one by a long shot.

    I'd like to see a COUNTER for SMS messages sent - showing date and with an adjustable date monthly summary.

    This would let me verify my phone bill and also manage keeping within free TXTs.

    it would be even more BEAUTIFUL if there was even more different fonts to choose from (like cursive & fancy fonts)

    Please add the ability to schedule sending a message at a later day/time. It is the only option I miss from my preloaded texting app.

  20. Textra ability to interface with a desktop for remote texting!

    Textra is already the best messaging app there is, hands down. But if it also had a built-in ability to interface with a desktop computer wirelessly/remotely, giving one access to Textra from a computer so they can receive/send/read texts on their screen without having to keep picking up their phone... Textra would be on 🔥FIRE🔥

    Sure, there are third-party apps that can do this, like Pushbullet, but they're finicky at best, error prone at worst -- they won't work, or messages received will only show up on the computer or the phone but not both, etc.
