  2. spam folder

    it is great that have a spam folder to blacklisted message moved to it and can be readable again .
    sometimes we need to read that message without exiting that from blacklist

  3. Add/Remove people in a group text

    It would be very nice to be able to add and remove people from a group text. On occasion, I have forgotten to include someone in a group text. Instead of conveniently being able to add someone, I've had to create an entire new group text. Or if I decide I no longer want/need someone in the group text I've created, I should be able to remove a person.

  4. Contact Card integration

    I believe this used to be feature but if not it should be looked into integrating the contact details card into Textra like stock Android Messenger. This allows when clicking on the picture of contact on main screen of your conversations bringing up the contact card to access info as well as quickly change to video call via duo or other options like emailing contact.Only feature I really miss from stock to Textra change

  5. Dual SIM - colour difference

    Dear developers,
    how about to differ by colour SIM1 and SIM2 even i coming text? I would find it usefull.

    an option to check to group certain messages in 'folders' and click those to open up the threads included in the group. optional and customizable as well. groups for family, close friends, etc...

  10. Auto Archive / Hide

    Immediately archive/hide messages for a specific contact with their custom settings Obviously, hiding/archiving support needs to be implemented first 😉

  11. Detect OTP in the messages

    Most of the time I use SMS is because I recieve OTP notifications via SMS. it would be stand out feature for textra if it could detect OTP messages and allow to copy it directly.

    the feature is available in Microsoft's message app and works great.

    delete messages if message is past a given amount of days if read. this would be optional like the current delete by message number.

  16. Textra SMS database to xml file

    Since Textra's SMS database is separate from the SMS database of the System, there should be an option to convert the Textra's SMS database to an xml file to help aid people who have data backup of only Textra and not of their system database (in xml format)...

  19. Add option to show contact photo/unread badge pane to the left of thread screen

    Add an option to have a pane that shows all the messaging threads (basically the contact pictures) you have to the left of the messaging thread you are currently in. Then the user can tap on the different contact icons to switch between the different threads without going back to the full thread list. This was a great feature on Win 10 mobile's messaging app and is sorely missed. when you have a lot of conversations going it saves a lot of time and swipes/back button pressing.
