Hey Textra. Kindly I still insist that you add a privacy window and my Idea is on the main screen to slide down to access the privacy window whereafter, you can use a fingerprint or password.NOTIFICATION.
Why don't you make the notification sound ring after the message has been delivered? Not after you've pressed send or make two sounds one for sent and the other for delivery10 votes -

detect iphones "liked your message" text and automatically like it
instead of saying the message that they liked your text the app should automatically detect that phrase and apply a heart button or some other symbol to the text message itself..

predictive spelling
what happened to predictive spelling, when you spell the word and it's misspelled you should be able to tap on it and it will give you a list of correct spelling of the word

Block iPhone message effects
When you are in a group chat with people on iPhone, there is constant spam of 'Laughed at' or 'Emphasized' or 'Liked' and then the entire text back. It constantly crashes the app if you have more than one throwing them back and forth and makes messaging nearly useless.
If there is a way to block or filter/auto delete these messages, it would make messaging so much easier.

User can choose background color for the individual chat or as general setting. Can choose from gallery pictures or color themes.

read text messages out loud
can you please update the app enabling Google Assistant to read text messages out loud
the idea is to have incoming text messages read to me audibly through my earbuds while I'm at work so I don't have to check my phone
a bonus feature would be to reply via voice as well but that is likely a bit more complicated than simply receiving audible text messages
we were looking for an accessibility menu in your app but could not locate one
we understand that Siri on iPhone already has this capability

Copy security codes to clipboard
I receive a lot of texts similar to the example from PayPal below. it would be great if TextMate could detect these texts and copy the security code to the clip board.
PayPal: Your security code is: 123456. It expires in 10 minutes. Don't share this code with anyone.

less saturated colors
it seems like most colors are very saturated and vivid. I wish I could have a lot more colors that are less saturated, especially for contact theme colors. I think others would like this as well. just make most of the colors a little bit closer to white.

Pinch to zoom
Add the capability to zoom in to a text to increase the font size of the message to make it easier to read when my eyes are tied and not focusing as well.
