It would be great if we could customize this app a little more with colors and images. Any chance that's coming?

date layout
i think maybe there should be a setting for the day/month/year display on conversations so people can choose between having either the date or month displayed first :)

Customize swipe actions
Maybe I'm missing a current option, but can you add the ability to change what happens when you swipe left or right on a message thread in the list view? I only have Call the person or Delete message. I never delete texts so it would be awesome to change that swipe action to Mark Read, for example. Thanks!

Auto-delete 2FA tokens after a selectable delay.
I use 2FA several times a day, and it would be nice for the texts I receive to self-delete after a couple minutes. Here's the rules I would choose:
1. Sender is not in your contacts
2. Contents match a regex like "(verification|authenticat(e|ion)).*d{4-8}"
3. Message is older than 2/5/10/30/60 minutes, selectable in settings.10 votes -

Organized Message Groups
I really like the customization that this app allows, the only feature that would make me use this app is the introduction to cleaning up dozens of chats into groups. Not a "Group chat" but an organizer; You add multiple chats into a sub-category ie: Coworkers, Friends, Clients, Spam, Business, Etc. To allow organization of messages in custom folders you can name to whatever you'd like to describe that group of messages.

Separate SMSs from Numbers Not In Contacts List
It would be nice to have a method to separate out SMSs that come from numbers not in someone's contact list. Especially from companies that send verification codes and other account-related information. This would help reduce clutter.

Mark Messages as Unread
Can you add the ability to mark messages as unread once you've read them, like you can in email. Sometimes you get a message and read it but maybe want to save it for later on or reference it again. Marking it as unread would bold the text again and make it easier to find.

editing
there is a typo from me not typing well and i send my text message saying all the wrong things. even with auto-correct and spell check on.
edit text option after the text message has been sent so there is no miss understanding from my recipient.
Thank you for hearing out my idea. I hope to see this feature in the near future while i continue to joyfully use this specific text messaging service for my particular phone service.

Exporting Chats (Longtime Pro User)
Hello Dev Team!
Aa a longtime Pro User, I've loved using Textra for years and having my messages here. The messages are stored locally, which means if my phone were to break, they'd all be gone.
A button to export a specific chat to an external storage place would be brilliant.

Create groups
It would be great to be able to create SMS groups, for example, grouping together SMS messages from business contacts, friends, family, etc.

otp auto delete in 24 hours to clean out the inbox.
Google messages has introduced this useful feature and keeps the texts clean. I personally have many spaces occupied by otp from different places.
