  2. improve copy

    I would like to be able to copy just parts of messages rather than only being able to copy entire messages. that is my only frustration with y'all.

  3. Choose where to store textra media

    The default storage location for textra media is the internal phone storage and I don't see any way to change that. I'd like the option to change that to SD card storage to save internal phone storage space.

    Android messages just added texting from a web client. I've been a pro user for many years but that's a feature I really need and have been paying for Pushbullet to get.

  7. video ads are an app killer

    I'm about to delete this app now that video ads are popping up. It kills the user experience to try to send a quick text and get stuck in a video ad.

  8. Support for Text-to-Email

    There are times I receive texts that originated as emails, sent thru my carrier's service. These take the form of <mycellnumber>@mms.att.net. I receive them okay, however, Textra doesn't do a "lookup" of the sender's email address from the Contacts like it does for mobole numbers. Also, I can't send a Text-to-Email message to a recipient by search, since Textra only includes Contacts that have mobile numbers.

    My suggestion would be to add support for Text-to-Email lookups in the Contacts database to match the current functionality with mobile numbers. This could be made optional for users to enable or disable in…

  10. Custom emoji front page

    Have a front page where users can select the emojis they use often. For me, this is way more useful than the "recently used" page that currently exists. Maybe just have an option to select which of the two pages you want. I'd rather hand pick the top emojis for my front page and have them always be right there, instead of moving around in the recently used every time I use one.

  12. Select text instead of copy.

    Hi,
    Thank you for making this great app. Please consider changing command in pop up dialog (when tapping text message) from "copy" to "select" or "select text", which is more appropriate to the function. After the text was highlighted, then there should be "copy" command. It happened to me many times that I tapped "copy" and thought that the selected text was copied, then switched to another app to paste the text there, and discovered that the text was not copied, so had to go back to textra to repeat the process.

    Be good if we can set how old our messages are kept for. Ie delete once they are a year old, or allow us to set how many days.

    It would be really cool if a solid colour could fade into another colour from. Top to bottom (like i-message) for either delivered or received messages. Love the app by the way :)
