  1. Customize Text Alert Sound

    Arriving texts currently use my generic alert sound. I'd like to use a different audio alert for texts.

  3. more fonts and customization options

    It would be nice to add more fonts, and to have a few more customization options. Besides that this app is running fine.

  5. MESSAGE ICONS

    I don't think the icons as a replacement for the colors are working too well. I like the idea but the message icon is what is needed! Maybe input the different shapes (icons) into the message icon itself... I think that would be pretty cool!

  8. Timeline View Option

    Displays all messages in chronological order - as a timeline with sender name / info indicated in a header line, with date time. Maybe only for a range of days, or a week at a time.

    After latest update the navigation bar matches theme in Textra. Give option to match Textra theme or keep system setting.

  11. Big improvement.

    Textra needs a big development to spark things up for lovers. Soo many ideas but not updated. Ideas like privacy, additional customization (bubble avatar in chats, background photo....etc), new icons, new sending sounds and many more...just do something big and make a change already... #1 textra user

    How about users being rewarded for using and having the app installed on their phones? Users can choose to get paid by PayPal, gift cards, or mobile refill.

  13. Support Android Accessibility Services

    Many Android Accessibility Services dispatch click events to elements. On the main screen that shows all the chats, each element appears to have a touch handler, but not a click handler. This means that users of many accessibility services won't be able to successfully click into any chats.

    Additionally, many icons don't have contentDescription set so screen reader users won't know what many of the buttons do.

    Using: https://developer.android.com/training/accessibility/testing and testing your app with TalkBack and Switch Access should quickly demonstrate these issues.

  14. Archive With Folders

    Absolutely love Textra. PLEASE add an archive feature with ability to create folders and name the folder. My inbox is getting so full with messages that I need to save. I would so appreciate this feature. Thank you

  17. Categorize contacts

    I was hoping for a feature, where you can sort your friends or anybody into different sections.
    I feel like the current list for the contacts is cluttered, and having different sections or categories could help with this.

  18. spell correction

    I have delay send set. If I find a misspelled word I should be able to just press on it to get it corrected prior to sending but that doesn't work. Please add this feature.

  19. Auto Theme Colors for Contacts

    Auto Theme Colors for Contacts is great but it changes the bubble colors to the contact colour. Can we keep the bubble colors as we set them in bubble colors.
    I know it can be done by going into each contact and changing the bubble colors but that's a big job

  20. Improve Scheduled Messaging

    I would like to choose a day and time, not the date and time when sending Scheduled messages.
    For example, i would like to send message tomorrow - wednesday, 17th april 2019.
    Off course, the date should stay, but it will be even nicer to see the day on same screen.

    Or even better, to instantly click tomorrow/2 days/3days etc...
