  2. Revert the + Picture Insert Feature

    It now takes 3 clicks to insert a picture vs 1 click from the last app version. I understand it was to add the ability to zoom in to a picture, but please remove it from single click. I would suggest adding that feature to the dragged up menu or (the most preferred option) long pressing to zoom in.

  3. where did vibration patterns go?

    why on earth would you remove the option to modify vibration patterns and then make it super long and not follow system settings? This is annoying enough to make me jump ship.

    to add a contact to a list. for conversation you want to be private, that you will need to unlock with passcode og biometric.

  6. You lacks good spam filtering

    Same as with Google message you should add détection and automatic warning for spam. In addition to black listing, official warnings, rules/keywords, it may even be community based with a list updated through the number of reports. In most countries this is truly needed, lots of people get scammed more and more.

  10. attaching images

    love this app! The only frustrating thing I've noticed is when attaching an image from gallery, it sucks to have to select the image, then the image opens and you have to select the circle in the upper right corner to attach it to the text 😐😐

  11. Contact is typing a message

    When engaged in a back and forth conversation it would be nice to see an indicator that the other party is typing. it's something Messages+ and Google messages had. Very convenient actually.

    idk if this is a limitation because apple hates Android but I'd love to be able to send audio messages. currently we can only receive them so it feels a little one-sided

  13. multiple sims

    i have 2 sim cards on my phone and given that the button to select the SIM and the send button are next to each other, i occasionally by accident change the SIM card before i send the text, resulting in roaming charges. Can you redesign that, eg, long pressing the send button would give the option to choose a SIM card.

  16. delay sending messages

    allow message to be written but have an option to delay send to a set time e.g. 7am, 7pm etc.
    this would allow me to write a message at night but not send until the morning so I don't disrupt their sleep

  17. PDF Support

    Please add support for viewing PDF files. If a PDF is received you have to switch the texting client away from Textra to view the file and there is no awareness in Textra that this file type has been received.

  18. Chat Bubbles

    Pro subscriber here. Would love to have the option for chat bubbles like Google Messages has or Facebook Messenger (what Facebook calls "Chat Heads").

    Yes "Quick Reply" is a nice Textra feature but sometimes I miss notifications at the top of my phone. If when I received a message a chat bubble popped up off to the side akin to Facebook Messenger/Google Messages, I wouldn't miss it. Then I could also leave the bubble up on the side while doing other things in case I needed to send another message to that person instead of having to tap the Textra…

    the current search function returns all instances of a word/phrase from all contacts. the ability to search within messages from a single group chat and/or a single contact would be useful

  20. Scheduled Messages While Scheduled Messages While Sending Device Is Off

    Can you please add a feature that sends scheduled messages even if the device sending the message is off?

    Verizon Messages+ used to do this.
