  1. Lots of support here for blocking email addresses.

    It can't be that difficult to block all texts sent via email as opposed to those sent from a phone number. There are a lot of suggestions here requesting that feature because of the recent uptick in spam from Gmail accounts. Please make this a priority.

    filter "personal" from "work" messages. having a conversation have a tag that you can filter out so it's not all in one list

  3. Use emojis for chat notifications.

    Hi devs. First off, my last suggestion was a blunder. I had just reinstalled Textra and was trying to call out Google Messages for not having simple swipe to delete and didn't realize I was in the Textra app. Then there was no way for me to delete that, so... Oops. I'm sorry.

    For the real suggestion, chat notifications are pretty limited. I'd like to be able to use emojis instead of the few notification icons available. A heart is fine for my wife, but for my best friend who I go shooting with all the time, I'd like to…

  4. option to disable the underlined dates.

  6. Separate Sim 1 and Sim 2

    It's frustrating that all sms come in, in the same list.
    IT could be really nice if it splits in two list, one for sim 1 (my job sim) and one for sim 2 (my private sim).

  8. enhance reactions to images/videos/MMS

    Thanks for adding RCS/reactions to text messages (sending & receiving). 1) It would be nice to support incoming iPhone reactions to images/videos/MMS as well as allowing us to react to those. 2) It would be nice to have a ... option in the react menu to pick other emojis.

  10. date format

    It would be great if it were possible to set the date format of received/sent messages any way you like (for example YYYY/MM/DD). Now in the English version of app the date is displayed in US standard.
    Second issue is displaying the full date even in the latest news instead of in example yesterday or week name

  11. Transfer settings between phones

    Please add the option to save your settings file (even externally) so that when moving to a new phone you can import those settings. Not just the settings, but importantly the Blocklist! I have hundred or so numbers on my old phones block list. Now that I'm on the new phone they're all gone and no longer on the list.

  12. Fix system dark mode color issues.

    The issue is that when you set your phone to dark mode, it messes up the text color. It makes it always white, no matter which of the 4 is selected. This makes many of the bubble colors useless. System dark mode also interferes with the bubble colors. What is shown in the selection vs. what you selected.

    Can there be a setting to ignore system dark mode? Or maybe fix this coloring issue? I have Textra set to black on screen color. No matter which I select, the text appears white unless I switch to light mode on my…

    Google messages is trying to compete and level the massaging field with iPhone users. Textra is already ahead of the curve by matching emojis and showing iPhone reactions on messages. Let's take it a step further with RCS support so we can send full quality pictures and videos!

  15. resend failed messages from lot.

    Hi to all .
    I've sent a message to 185 persons, but some of those messages to several destinations (person/number) got an "!” before the name and number.
    Is there any possible way to resent the message but only for this that failed.
    I'm asking this because for many different reasons the delivery couldn't be possible (number not in use, disconnected etc) but some of them I now that are in use on a daily basis but still got the"!".
    is a resend it probably it's sensed to everyone and I don't want that .
    there's an idea to check…

    Currently we can react (like, laugh, question, etc) to messages other people send (not images). It would be nice to be able to react to our own messages in the same way.
