  5. Possibility to program an sms

    He possibility to write an SMS and by simply long click on the arrow send logo open a menu to program the sending of the SMS.

  6. Text input box, privacy, chat heads, pinned icon

    I have tried all of the texting apps, each of which had a fatal flaw... except Textra. Though not perfect, it does come close.

    Here are a few things that I would like to see.

    Text input:
    Add the option to customize the text input box separately from other areas. To include the color of it, and adding and adjusting the color of the outline of the box.

    Privacy:
    Option to make individual messages locked. Hide individuals' last message from being visible in the list view. Private inbox, accessible through a hidden means... such as sending a message to "Unlock0000"…

  7. Notification privacy

    New messages from different contacts will have separate cards/notifications. New message notifications can be viewed from the lockscreen with only the contact details/name/timestamp shown. When pulling down the notification, the message preview is revealed. Pulling down further/fully shows a quick reply option.

  9. Send message to calendar

    I would like to be able to send a message to the calendar to create an appointment or a reminder.

    Someone just texted me : "ok see you on Monday 7pm then!" and I would like to turn that message into an appointment somehow. At least a reminder so that I don't forget about it without having to exit Textra, go to calendar, set a new appointment.

  10. Contact Color Rings on Convo list

    in the convo list area, you can see all the people you talk to. if they dont have a contact picture, it shows the icon as the custom color you have them. but with a picture, you cant see their color.
    I think the Contact picture should have a thin colored ring, just to make it easier to distinguish the contacts by color.

  11. have a way to back up messages

    I've seen this in other apps, can you possibly make it available to back up messages? because I've changed phones a few times in the past few years and I hate losing some messages from important people. it would even be worth paying a little more money if that were an option.

  13. Change contact name as shown in Textra

    To have the ability to change the name of a contact as displayed within Textra, or else display the "Phone number type" (Mobile, Home, Work, etc.) from Android contact information.
    I have several contacts with two phones and distinguishing between personal or work phone numbers is difficult without creating a new, separate and unique Android contact in order to distinguish properly between the two within Textra.

  14. Copy option for OTP based messages

    There should be a way to copy message directly from the notification . Like for the messages containing OTP or digit codes.

  15. Lock out second sim

    I have a dual sim phone. The 2nd sim is strictly data only. I never want to use it for sms. Occasionally I bump the selector by accident and switch to sim 2. It would be great if I could lock out that second sim somehow.

  17. Merge Threads

    To have the option of merging the messages from one phone number thread to another.

    Example: Your friend gets a new phone number and you want to merge the messages received from the old thread to the new thread with the new number.

  18. Option to Expire Messages

    It would be nice if there was an option to delete messages after a certain period of time, such as "30 days" or "3 months".

    This would be useful to keep the data size of your messages down as well as to provide a time amount of extra privacy.

  19. Hide or Delete service SMS

    I'm didn't find any app here, that can hide, delete or place all service sms ads in one place (a folder or something), or don't notify me for these unwanted sms.
    I hope you'll consider this in your next version.

    Create an option whereby a contact's or multiple contacts' texts can be setup to receive auto-reply sms or mms for any reason and for any determined timeframe
