  1. notification icons on top- BRING BACK COLORS NOTIFICATION COLORS NEEDED

    It used to be your notification icons at the top of your screen could be different colors depending on the person that you customized to have a particular icon and color.

    Google made some changes and only allowed white icons....it looks as though I have a couple of my icons for notifications in color back

    can we revert the option for Textra notification icons at the top of the screen

  3. responding to messages with emojis

    most all phones and networks are able to send emojis to react or as a response to "Text Messages" like instant messaging on social media platforms. people can send a thumbs up 👍 or a heart ❤️ or sad face 😞 as if it was attached to the message that was sent. why hasn't textra made it's users allowed to use stuff like that??

  5. Bubble icons for pinned converstions

    It would be nice to have the option to make our pinned conversations into bubbles of the contact photo. Similar to how iMessage does it I think. Would help clear up some space for those who have the max number of conversations pinned

    pop up message with quick response to remain on screen until closed. don't know new text has come in when pop up flashes across screen briefly, if not looking at the screen at that time

    need an option to view personal messages only versus business messages. I hate scrolling through all the business messages to find my personal contacts

  10. Bubble size/width option

    Hi, I'm new to Textra, coming from Verizon Message+ being shutdown. The message bubbles/dialog boxes are SO narrow! A medium length text is extremely stretched out. There is more screen outside the bubble than the bubble itself. Hope that makes sense.

    I hate Google Messages but even theirs are much wider, and Textra is FAR superior otherwise.

  11. Missed call and text reminder

    This is a good app. The only thing that I don't like is that it doesn't have a reminder for missed calls/texts. I'm constantly missing texts mainly. It would be nice to have a reminder.

  12. replying to specific message in a chat

    hi. I was hoping that a feature could be added to reply to a specific message in a chat like u can in apps like WhatsApp. now when an apple user replies specifically to a message in a group chat it just shows up as xyz replied to a message as a separate text without specifying what message they are replying to

    for those of us who live in a fringe cell network area, our texts fail to send, when I put the phone in airplane mode they go out via the local Wi-Fi network.

  16. option to turn off calendar suggestions

    it drives me absolutely bonkers to have my text underlined and linked to a calendar app I don't even use whenever I mention any sort of Time, including things like "next week" or even "now". please let me turn this off. I've taken to censoring my own texts just to avoid this.

  20. Automatic Replies

    This feature would be nice to have for times when you do not want to be disturbed. This is different from the do not disturb feature. It would be nice to communicate that you are currently unavailable for text messages from certain senders.
