MMS Message Indicator
Add an indicator that someone has sent you an MMS message when you have poor or no internet connection so you can know when someone sent you an MMS message when they sent it instead of just receiving it later when you have internet connection.

Import nicknames from contacts
When I had an iPhone, I loved the concept of setting different nicknames and names. I would set people's real names as their names, and something different as their nicknames. It would be great if Textra could emulate this and give the option of using nicknames by default.

Bold text for unread messages
I would like an option to have unread threads/messages appear in bold on the overview screen. it should stay bold until our clock into it. This would be like an email inbox for unread messages. it would make it easy to see what hasn't been read or ones you want to wait to open and respond to later.

Mute Conversation Timer
I would love to have the option to set a timer for how long my pesky group chat can be muted for. Generally they don't blow up my phone for more than an hour, so I would just long press on the "Mute" button and select a desired amount of time for the group chat to be muted. Then after that set amount of time the conversation would unmute itself allowing for notifications again. I just always forget to unmute the conversation.

"Message Scheduling"
Please, can someone check the "Message Scheduling" option? It does not deliver the message when it is supposed to which, for obvious reasons, can lead to problems. Thank you.

Don't repeat whole text when "Liked" by iOS.
I don't want this clean and minimal texting app to get more complicated or more like iPhone. There are plenty of chat and message apps for that. But if iPhones keep echoing the whole text back when they Like or Love it, please make a setting to turn that off and just say "Liked your text"

pre-written replies
It would be nice to have a drop-down where you could have a list of pre-written replies. During my work day most of my replies are one of several different replies but always the same, it would be nice to not have to retype the same message all the time.

copy/paste in messages
can't copy or select text in messages. it is ridiculous and, if I'm being completely honest, it's damn near making me switch text services, as a paid user of several years, to pulse sms... because for whatever reason, on a samsung s10, I cannot copy a selection from a message. or even make a selection of a portion of a message. I have to copy the entire message which is just so annoying and it baffles me as to why I can't simply highlight and select and copy what I want from whatever message I want. please fix this!!

Easy way to manage app/message storage space
It'd be awesome to have a way to easily search, sort, and clean up old messages by size to reduce the storage used by the app.

Better "failed to send" message notification
Recently I have had many messages that have "failed to send", for whatever reason. but because I click send then typically trust or assume it sent, close the app and wait for a reply before opening that conversation again, if that message failed to send that person's not likely to reply to it and I'm not likely to open that conversation again for several days. Meaning I don't realize the message failed to send, I think they ignored it or something. because currently the only way to see a message failed to send is to reopen that same conversation and…

Separate saved number texts from unsaved
Hi thanks for reading my idea. I was thinking separating out texts so that unsaved numbers (bots or spammers) are separate from saved numbers (friends/family) would be an awesome improvement. I tend to save a lot of texts, just in case. And this would make them so much easier to keep track of.

Categorize Text Messages/Custom Text Tones
On my default texting app, I have the ability to categorize my messages such as Work, Family, Etc. I also had the ability to set a specific ringtone for the contacts in that group as well. It helped me because I could identify which group had texted me. Helpful if its just a text from a friend vs Work so I can hear the urgency whether I need to jump to my phone or just let it ring.
