  1. Does anyoe know if Google One backup service is fully compatible with Textra?

    That is, if I get a new phone and restore everything on it via the Google One app, will all my messages show up exactly the same as they were in Textra?

    could you implement a privacy feature where the users can hide some chats. unlocked by the fingerprint sensor or pin .... it would really help with people snooping

  5. Good day! Are you planning to add a private mode like in Mood messenger? I don’t use Textra just because of the lack of this mode!

  6. Option to move send button location (in the way)

    All the buttons are too close and it's too easy to send a message before you have finished typing it. Having the option to move the button to a different part of the screen would great. Thank you

  7. reply in text

    just like whatsapp or signal please add a reply feature so you can reply to a certain msg inside a conversation. in other apps you swipe on the msg and u reply w that msg inside yours, this allows people to know what your responding to.

  8. Date format

    Could you please add an option to switch between date formats? Currently there is only MM/DD/YYYY available. It would be nice to have DD/MM/YYYY (or DD.MM.YYYY) for European users.

  9. allow option to separate messages from contacts and new numbers

    This could act sort of as a spam filter for all the spam messages I've been getting. disabled by default this would disable sound notification for unknown numbers and put them in a separate folder or tab. that way if I'm expecting a message I know I can check there otherwise I can just ignore it

  10. Blocklist & Delete

    currently when we blocklist, we can't delete the message easily, and it shows up in other text apps as well as windows, etc. we need a combined function that blocks the numbers then deletes the text as one button.

  11. Per Message "Chat" or "Bulk" Mode Setting

    Hello, in Textra's MMS settings you can select between Chat- replies go to everyone & Bulk-replies come only to you. I am use to this being a send option when I am sending a message. Can you please add such an option? The global setting is good, but an option to change how the current message is being sent without changing the default would be very helpful. Thank You!

    Please allow wifi texting! My carrier service is turned off, and textra will no longer work! I had to download another app so I could text over wifi

  13. Switch between dual Sim should be more difficult to change

    I have two Sim cards but one is usually inactive only for use when I travel. Should Textra be able to know when Sim is disabled and not allow you to change sim1 or sim2 if only one Sim is active. Or it should perhaps not be next to send button because I have accidentally changed my Sim multiple times when pressing send. Maybe it should be up on top of the menu so this doesn't happen. I do think that when one Sim is disable Textra shouldn't allow you to change to that Sim.

  16. Dual Sim Error

    Hello, I am using textra for 5 years on different phones during this time. Now, I have a Xiaomi Note 9 Pro Android 11 and supported dual sim. But, I can't choice which sim card iş default sms card. Always i have to select during writing a SMS right of the SMS text area. I always must select 1 or 2 icon, right of writing SMS text area.   17. Not receiving notifications for new texts.

    Currently I receive a text and I see the icon in the status bar, but it clears itself after a few minutes. Then when I open the app later I notice I have a bunch of missed texts. This is happening on my girlfriends phone too so I know it's the app.

    Additionally dual sim is messed up because it keeps switching sims and I'm texting people from random numbers which is really confusing for them.
