    hi

    it will be very usefull lif we can select which number of the contact we want in the group
    if a contact as more than 1 number especialy home number , it appear in the group and you must unselect it Evert Time. selecting which to add will be a must

  2. backup and sync everywhere

    The app is wonderful very fast and easy to use however it would be amazing if it would always be backed up and undated instantly on any device similar to whatsapp or iMessage which is what really set them apart from the game. It is so difficult backing up and restoring messages and mms on Android I wish there would be a flawless solution.

  3. Don't include gifs in MMS Auto save.

    hello, I use your auto save to Gallery function in the MMS settings, but I would like to not save my gifs. I send a lot of gifs and don't need them autosaved to my gallery. Is there any way to separate out gifs?

  5. Config settings to control delete

    some users want one swipe deletes, others want a "are you sure" pause step when deleting, still others want "Delete" to mean move to archive/trash so one's inbox is "clean". Instead of forcing all users to accept same delete behavior, put the behavior as option in the config setting for users to choose.

  6. Add shortcuts of conversations with multiple or only one recipient to android homepage.

    This appears only available in go and and I would like to move to textra but this is a must have service I need. I save shortcuts of work chats to my homepage and then collate them in a folder. Giving me fast easy access to various chats with single or multiple recipients

  8. Option: Switch "Reply" and "Mark as Read"

    The stock Android texting app on my phone usually displays the options as "Reply" and "Mark as Read" from left to right. Textra displays the options as "Mark as Read" and "Reply" from left to right. It would be nice to have an option to switch the order of these functions. It is muscle memory for me to click in the left, and I find myself marking a lot of messages as read when I meant to reply to them.

    Allow for a setting to instant delete instead of having to confirm with an Undo button visible for 1 second.

    The whole entire app is amazing but if the name changed to messenger or messages, something similar of the sort...It could totally appear more natural on a phone and surpass even more downloads than android messages

  11. Read Receipts

    It would be nice to know when your friend , mom/dad , younger or older sibling(s) boyfriend/girlfriend , or anyone else , read your message . Compared to it only being known as delivered and not read. We need read receipts ! 🤷🏼‍♀️

  12. MMS Errors should show sender

    I don't have MMS service, so when I get one and Textra can't retrieve it, the error message should appear in the message list with the sender's name. This way I can tell them that I can't get MMS messages.

  13. Create Tab on Dashboard

    Hello, I saw this idea of the new Microsoft SMS application available only in India country.

    Could you integrate this kind of technologies on your application?

    My vision is: I would like to get an another tab like Family or Friends where I can put my favorite contacts and with policy all messages will be redirected on this tab.

    It will be very useful to keep better eyes on this kind of SMS instead of only one tab SMS...

  15. Textra Should Work Overseas

    Textra should work when in Scotland. I traveled there from the U.S. I could not send texts with Textra (kept getting an error message). I switched to the Samsung stock message app and the texts worked.

  16. Accounts for Backup

    It would be super cool if you guys could implement a feature where users can create a free Textra account that can be used to save/back up everything from settings to messages.

    I use a calendar service called Womanlog (it's a period tracker of sorts) and they recently transitioned from doing backups manually (using emails & codes) to having their users create free accounts that are used to save their data (please refer to that service for more clarification).

    This is a super cool feature that needs to be made a reality within Textra.

  17. Bixby-compatible

    I think it would be cool to allow Bixby to work with textra. That's one reason I stopped using this app was because I couldn't use Bixby with it. I think it would be convenient
