    I would love to have the ability to send all my texts as MMS with customizable text formatting, similar to Apple's iMessage or Facebook Messenger.

  4. Ability to back up preferences and settings so switching phones or having to reinstall isn't such a pain.

    An option to back up user preferences (contact ring tones and color schemes) would be a great way to get people to come back to it after getting a new phone.

  6. Hide notification content of short code texts, to protect 2 factor auth

    Codes for 2 factor auth or password resets usually come from short codes, I would feel safer if these codes weren't in view on my locked lock screen.
    Like if someone got ahold of my phone they could reset passwords since the codes are viewable form the lock screen.

  9. when you have the options the contact name in nougat notification

    this isnt an idea. its a bug
    when you have it set to hide contact name in the notification bar if you swipe down on the notification on nougat it says "reply to (contacts name) it actually shows the persons name.

  10. Leave Group Chats!!

    I know there are currently "mute notification" and "blacklist" options for group chats, and I think they're great. However, sometimes they just don't cut it - muting the notifications still causes battery drainage and clutters your inbox, and blocking all your friends isn't a very viable solution either. I propose there be a middle ground where we can either leave the group chat or block the group completely without blacklisting/blocking individual friends. This is a difficult task, but it would help alot of us a great deal. Thanks for listening!

  11. The title of some settings are cut short in portrait mode

    I can't see what some of the options in the settings menu are, because the name of the option is just cut, whenever it's too long for the screen. Should automatically turn into two lines rather than just cutting it.

  15. Easier way to send long texts

    Besides just allowing user to request a bigger input field for long texts (say, click a button to expand the input box), have a special delimiter within the text to split it up into pieces. For example:

    [break]
    line3
    [break]
    line4

    Clicking send would send three texts That way I can separate ideas into different texts without worrying about the person texting me back while I'm still typing the next one

    Textra would be highly recommended if a andriod user can receive a ios 10 animatios in text such as; fireworks, ballons, secret code

  19. Conversation locking

    Can you make it so that the first X number of messages are free to see, and then to load the rest of the conversation you need to enter the pin?
    Pushing it a small step further would be to be able to enable our disable this function for specific conversations.

  20. Better (more) delay send options.

    Send delay of up to ten minutes. Right now you can only cancel a time delayed message, there should also be a send now option.
