  1. Colored Contact Lines

    I think it'd be GREAT if you could pick a custom color for a contact and then, on your list of text message conversations-- the most recent texts from people, their pictures, etc--, their entire line was the color you chose for them. It'd add a nice, colorful look to an otherwise somewhat bland screen, and it would help my favorite people stand out in a big list of conversations.

  2. Notification accusé de réception

    Ça serait bien que si l'accusé de réception n'arrive pas dans un temps imparti (5mn), qu'il y ait une notification sonore au moment où on reçoit l'accusé de réception.

  3. Distinctive reminder tone

    if reminder for unread text messages is turned on. An option to choose a unique tone would be nice. This would indicate a new message isn't being received.

  5. search feature.

    a search feature inside of a text message to fine specific words, to make finding a particular message easier. currently o have to email it to myself open it in Adobe then search for the word there to find messages that I want to go back to. in app search function would be nice.

  6. Keep notification after Quick Reply

    Add a setting to enable Notification of new messages to remain in notification bar after using Quick Reply to reply to message. The notification would only disappear after opening the message in the full app.

  7. New Font for Android

    I think when android devices change the font with IOS emojis, I think it shouldn't only be for Textra. I think it should be for the entire phone not only the app.

  8. bring back double time stamps for messages received during airplane mode

    Textra used to display 2 time stamps for messages received while the phone was in airplane mode or off: 1 for the time the message was sent by the sender, and 1 for the time the message was received on the receiver's phone (i.e. when phone was turned back on). Please bring this back! Now, only the latter time stamp is displayed

  11. Chat / Bulk option while composing

    it would be wonderful to be able to select chat or bulk for any group message while you are composing the message instead of having to go into the settings.

    this app auto change sim selection according to message received sim.
    mostly we have a sms pakage only on one sim when we want to reply to sms of other sim , the selection change which cause chages without knowing.
    kindly make option of both sim simultaneously to send like samsung app

  18. DND (Do not disturb) timer.

    I noticed someone advertising an app that was simply a text Do Not Disturb app. It basically just sends a response to somebody for an amount of time that you set so you are not Disturbed such as when you are sleeping, studying, Etc. That would be a nice feature to Simply incorporate into this app so people don't have to download an additional one to do that.
