  2. Prevent links from opening when holding message box

    Copying and pasting an entire message is usually easy by pressing and holding the text until the copy option appears, though, this is not the case with links. The link opens every time I try to copy it regardless of how long I hold it.

  3. Split fonction

    I would love to have the Split fonction, as the SMS app on Galaxy S7 Edge !

  4. Additional options within per-conversation media

    It would be great when viewing the media gallery for a conversation, to be able to do two things:

    1) Multi select and delete

    2) The option to jump to that specific point in a conversation

    This could easily be done with a long-press context menu or something similar, and would greatly improve the new media navigation.

  6. Bug of last picture sent or received

    I've encountered a big where sometimes when I close the app, the last picture sent it received by me through the Textra app stays up in the the phones picture viewer. I then have to close this image as well to get to the home screen.

  7. Open chats in full screen automatically.

    I often have to close the chat screen to get back to what I was doing. So having to always click on the menu and select 'open full chat' every time I bring the chat up on my screen is very aggravating. The chat doesn't look right unless it's in full screen mode.

    It'd be great if we could use apps like Tasker and autoinput with the textra. Can we get Accessibility enabled? Published intents?

  12. notification watcher

    It would be great to add a notification watcher, thats to say, whenever i open the app, the notifications should be cleared even if i open the app directly (not through the notification).

    Je pense que d'ajouter un mode ne pas déranger automatique, de 23h à 6h, par exemple, et pour des personnes spécifiques, serait une bonne amélioration

  14. Typing faster

    Example if the user types omw it recognizes those letters that the user programs and replaces it with on my way. Or if the put np as the shortcut but it auto corrects it to no problem. And many other shortcuts like this.

  15. A toggle that will silence messages from unknown senders.

    This will come on handy when I don't want to be bothered by notifications from banks, carrier notifications or messages from unknown senders but I can still review them when I next go into my messages.

    Some of these ideas on here seem so dumb to me but I don't want to comment, it would help if you knew that out of the 3000 votes for some mango emoji or other nonsense you also had 5000 votes saying we don't need no freakin mangos

  17. Allow media such as YouTube to play while quick responding

    When I quick reply while watching or listening to music on YouTube, the video automatically pauses. Using a system similar to that of messenger - a screen overlay (accessible when you click on the notification, not like a chat head.) will allow us to enjoy our music on third party applications while chatting with our friends!

  18. Fix Comma truncating Hyperlinks

    Issue: So I'm seeing locations sent as google map locations are truncating at commas (probably any other hyperlinks with commas as well)

    Solution: Ensure that a hyperlink isn't stopping at the first comma it encounters.

  20. Implement Deleted Folder which is already common, so a must have standard among all msg apps alike

    Hi, recently dwnl 3-4 msg apps, one of which had feature that gave you an OPTION to decide if you want deleted texts to go to a folder so you don't lose them. (may be Goo Allo, or Dasher, but hoping it's you!) I deleted a text and would like to know if you can recover it, or if you could please implement a deleted FOLDER like many other apps offer, and like all emails do. It's a very common feature that should with common sense be already implemented in msg apps (text/email/chat/DM/etc). There is no reason not to, because…
