  2. Customizable Notifications

    I would like to be able to set some contacts so that no notification comes through, but on certain, customizable, texts they do.
    For example, at work I would like to turn all notifications off except for my kids.

  3. Textra Keyboard to match colors of contact

    Like the color of the custom contact profile Textra should have it's own keyboard that also copies the color and then everything matches!

  4. Separate list for group texts

    I have several group texts. I'd like to be able to group all of my group texts together in one list separate from all of my private texts. Any chance this feature could be explored?

  5. Multiple Messages combiner

    So it drives me crazy how some people will send you 3 texts in a row. Sometimes more, usually brief. we need a way to have multiple messages sent from the same person within a brief time come through as one message. please!
    👎example:

    •Hey!(5mins ago)
    •Whats up!?(5mins ago)
    •You working today?(3mins ago)
    •Did you see that YouTube video yet?(1min ago)

    👍App would merge messages to:
    •Hey
    What's up!?
    You Working today?
    Did you see that YouTube video yet?(5min ago)

    less notifications to drive people crazy from annoying and impatient people. This could easily be applied in a similar way…

  7. option to have incoming texts read aloud

    Verizon messages does this, it's a feature you select that will read aloud your incoming texts. Android Auto does something similar, but it's particular to driving scenario. I'm looking for something to where if I'm unable to interface with my phone, I can just have texts read to me, like when I have my Bluetooth on.

  8. Search option within text conversations

    Currently there's an option for searching the entire inbox but it would be great if you could search specifically within a conversations. This is possible in my native text app and I've seen it in other 3rd party text apps. Please add this feature.

  9. Separating Known Contact messages from Unknown contacts

    when accessing text messages there should be two categories, "Contacts" and "Strangers". For example, if I have their name associated with the phone number it is separated from all the Unknown Text messages

    not sure how iPhones use data to send videos. would be nice if textra would enable my samsung to send and receive video somehow someway

  11. Make a separate paid app

    The problem with this in app purchase model is that I can use it only on my current device. If I were to loose my phone or it were to be become outdated, then I would lose my pro features. Thus, I prefer not to take the risk and make any in app purchases.

    Another solution to this issue that you can include a sign in facility and ensure my in app purchases are linked to that.

  13. Searching with in one contact

    Hi!
    The current search feature is a general one that searches through so texts. I often know which contact I need to search, but cannot search only within that person's texts. If you could develop a search only within one contacts threats of conversations, that would make like so much easier!

    If back key would call "go home screen" instead of "close application", then next open would be faster (without blink of gray background).

  16. Send messages to all the contacts with a single click

    Add an option to select all contacts as recipients of the SMS with a single click. This would be really helpful on various occasions when someone needs to send a single message to all his/her contacts and avoid that hectic procedure to select contacts one by one.

  17. placeholder for ads

    I love Textra and the ads don't bother me at all. But, one slightly annoying thing is that when first loading Textra, just before I'm about to click on one of the conversations (just before the ad has shown), the entire list shifts down, causing me to either select the ad, or the wrong conversation. Why not put a placeholder in the spot where the ad is going to be loaded into so that there is no shifting up or down?

  18. Shape the Textra Icon to match the Android Oreo Icon Look

    Like most other apps, is there a way to change the shape of the actual icon to mimic the Android Oreo Icon look? It will help to add cohesion to the look of all the icons on the home screen. LOVE THE APP, BY THE WAY! Thanks for your work!
