  2. Rectify this: Sad emoji grey, small and simple

    Ever since a recent upgrade (the one adding more emojis?) the next
    basic "sad" emoji, although appearing colourful and in the same style as the others, comes out when inserted into a text as small, grey and very simplified. Idea: revert to previous and make it like all the others.

    Would like to see the ability to archive and be able to search without the archived texts being in that which is searched.

  6. Themed text colors not as difficult as enabling all colors.

    text colors for at least a similar type of themed color so that "match" is a choice of letting Textra do it, which is the way it is now, but then the text could be the direct inverse of the receiving text colors. So, not necessarily the whole range as with the background text recipient and sender but like being Halloween, I had set up the received (or their) colors as orange background, and black text, which is possible already. I ran into a problem when I tried to "match" it with my own (or our) text and background as…

  8. Forwarding texts and pictures

    There should be a way to easily forward texts and pictures to a different person. As it is, it's easier to make "Messages" my default texting app to do it and then come back to Textra.

  9. Keep In Touch

    I'm a terrible friend and relative, I will be in touch with someone regularly for about a week and then forget to reply for a long time and then feel guilty.

    Create an option for a list of specific contacts and reminders if you haven't texted them in a while (and settings for what "a while" is for each contact)

  10. Choose Directories for Add Photo

    When adding a photo from my storage, I am shown photos from ALL folders.

    It would be nice to have some control over which folders are presented to pick from by default. (I want to exclude group messaging app photos, for example)

    Revert program to the faster, smoother version where you could just click a YouTube link and go right to the video. the pop up menu just adds an extra step (or two), as well as time waiting for it to load, and has no use case for the average user.

  12. Use blocklist feature to provide private text feature

    Folks, you already are able hide blocklisted messages, but still preserve the convo, ie, incoming and outgoing text for that number. why not provide a highly desire feature of private texting. It seems that the only function to add is notification for the blocked. . .err . . . private message.

  13. basic media editor before sending

    Coming from Signal, it has a very light media editor you can use before sending a picture, just crop, rotate, maybe color adjust. I would love to be able to at least crop in app before sending.

  14. Dual SIM organization

    Have the ability to separate the two sim cards in the list of conversations. There could be buttons at the top of the conversation list that could organize the list by sim card. Being able to select one or the other will allow you to only view one number's conversations. This will greatly help keep the two numbers separate and organized.

  17. Text message photos saved to Gallery

    This is a PROBLEM, not an idea....
    Ever since the last update, or maybe the one prior to that, images embedded in incoming messages are being moved into and saved in my Gallery. Thus, my storage has filled up at twice the normal rate, and now the camera won't even take photos.
    Is there a setting I can resetto make this stop?

  18. Vibrate-only for individual text chains

    I like that I can silence individual text chains, but I wish there was a third option (vs silent or not-silent) that would just disable audio notifications per text chain. That way I can still tell when there's a new message in a less important chain (without having to constantly check the app), but it's not making a ton of noise--while I'm also still able to hear sound notifications for more important chains.

  19. Pictures for group chats

    instead of having the profile photos of group chats be a combination of those in the group, the option to customize by uploading your own photo to be the icon for the chat would be nice

  20. Blocked massages

    In Blocklisted, urgently, two developments:

    A. Possibility to mark and delete the spam messages. Today you have to go through each spam message and delete it individually, and sometimes there are hundreds of them.

    B. Today, most messages arrive without a phone number, but with a text, please give the option to block messages by text, and not just a phone number.
