  1. Message Scheduling Ability

    I had a messenging app before that allowed me to create a text to send later, at a day and time if my choosing. I loved that feature and would LOVE to see that offered with this app as well. Is that a possibility?

  2. Move position of "Blocklist" in Quick Reply window

    I voted yes for someone who had a similar idea. in the quick reply window or the pop-up window when I'm sharing a link in Textra the upper right drop-down menu has Blocklist at the top. I have accidentally blocklisted my friends so many times when intending just to close the window. Please move it down in the menu and put Close Window or Done at the top

  3. Unknown Contact Message Reminder

    I love that I can have messages from unknown contacts not alert me. It definitely stops annoying spam messages from interrupting my day. However, this also prevents me from getting messages that I DO want to get and I don't know about them until I open the app. Can we have an option for a daily reminder of unread messages from unknown numbers? Or something like that. Thanks!

  4. Bug: S22 Ultra custom notification sound reverts to default

    I am unable to use a custom notification sound for Textra on Samsung S22 ultra running Android 13, One UI 5.0 and Textra 4.59. I select a ringtone within Textra/Settings/Customize Notifications/Android Settings. The sound I chose is from Zedge "Airbus Seatbelt Sign" but when an incoming Textra message arrives, I hear the default system sound "Ping". I did not have this problem with my Note 10plus running Android 12, UI 4.1 and Textra 4.56.

    Are you aware of this bug?

    For now, I've changed the default system sound to "Airbus Seatbelt Sign", but now other system notifications make me check…

  5. Emoji space bar

    A space bar or button would be really handy on emoji pages. Sometimes I want to put spaces between emojis and have to go back to the regular keyboard to do it.

  6. Label for unreplied texts please

    so we get a label for unread texts in our inbox, can we please get a label for unreplied texts too?

    I sometimes read a message but forget to reply, thus having a label like the unread label would save me so much.

  7. Delete duplicate messages

    Can you make a setting to delete duplicates of text messages? I just transferred my s20+ to my new s23+ and all of my messages duplicated to where they show 2 of each. Verizon doesn't have a way to delete these and I'd like to avoid wiping the phone

  8. Let some us old timers help.

    maybe I'm the only one, maybe not. But often when I log in and come to the ideas I see a lot of requests for things that either are already there and maybe they don't know it or they're impossible to do. These types of messages seem to fill up a remainder quite a while which isn't good for you and isn't good for the customer. At the same time there's things that we are waiting for that we rather not have you spend your time on these types of things. I know that opening up the door for other…

  10. Différentes vibrations

    Je voudrais avoir différentes tonalités de vibration lors des réceptions de SMS. En effet la vibration actuelle n'est pas assez longue et forte et il arrive que je n'entende pas quand je reçois des messages. Un grand merci à vous 🙂

  12. In-app support for Android message bubbles

    Android has an OS-level feature for messages appearing as overlay bubbles by tapping on an icon in the notification. It would be nice to be able to enable the same feature while viewing a message in the app, on a message/conversation by message/conversation basis. This is the only feature I miss out of (Facebook) Messenger, and would be nice to have fairly easy access to in Textra.

  14. Simple Way to Select All Non-Contact Convos

    title. it would be fantastic to have an easy way to instantly select all of my Non-Contact conversations for easy archiving or deleting. I can imagine an implementation where the "Select All" action button cycles between different selections.

  16. Automatically delay texts for certain contacts at certain times

    would be great to automatically delay text that I send my mom at 4:00 in the morning and have them send the next day at like 9:00 a.m.

    Similar to photo album functions (Google Photos for example), it would improve efficiency to have the ability to delete texts by days, in addition to individual selection.

    Different colour or icon if the last message in a conversation was sent from me. I would like to know if the other person is waiting for my response.
