  1. Avatar's Contact Info

    It would be nice to tap on an avatar and all of their contact info be displayed. Thus would allow one to call, text, or email the contact without having to go to a specific app to complete the desired action. Right now I believe you have to tap the avatar, tap to open up the contacts (within the contact's app), then select the desired action.

  2. Expand the amount of primary theme colors

    I feel as though the selection of primary theme colors is lacking compared to secondary colors - it is very broad compared to the specificity and depth of the secondary color pallette. At the very least, is it possible to allow the primary colors have the same collection of secondary colors; or maybe combine both into one big pallette and have them be selectable for use in either primary or secondary positions?

  3. What do the colored bars alongside the text mean? I just typed about for lines of text, on the left side is this green bar with what looks t

    Vertically, along the left side of my text, there is a green bar with an exclamation point at the bottom. What is that? What does it mean? Are we just supposed to figure this stuff out or did you ever think that maybe there should be a tutorial?

  4. Option to quickly turn off or change a profile for notifications

    First off, I love the app. I'm a pro user and very glad I am. Now, here's my scenario: I type pretty slowly on a phone keyboard, but I type 100+ words per minute on a laptop or other full size keyboard. On my computers, I've downloaded the Verizon app Message+, which allows me to text using my computer instead of my phone keyboard. However, when messages come in, I need the phone to stop showing me the notifications, and have them only on the computer. Since just "blocking" notifications in the settings doesn't block the actual app notifications (like…

  8. Have a preview when customizing

    It's really hard to review or see the differences I made in customizing font colors, theme color,etc. It would be really helpful if theres a preview of everything in a thread. :)

  13. Add an option to clear all text when searching gifs.

    When searching gifs I have to use backspace to clear all text. If there was an "x" that clears all text it would be easier to search.

  14. Please fix the Fitbit Blaze double notification issue when using Textra as default SMS app

    When using Textra, Fitbit Blaze gets sent 2 notifications for each SMS from Textra. Please fix the activity for this behavior. I suspect it may be because Textra is syncing with the default Android SMS database.

  16. Allow option to disable "Can't get MMS" error during phone calls when mobile data may not be available to retrieve MMS messages

    On sprint, while I am on a call mobile data is not available. I would like an option to not put up the "Can't get MMS" error while my phone is actively on a call and no data is available. As soon as the phone call is done, then the alert can be re-enabled and would be appropriate.

  17. Recent 3.22 version breaks ability to respond to messages on Pebble smart watch

    The recent 3.22 version of textra has broken the ability to respond to messages on connected pebble smartwatch. I noticed that there is now a "Pebble notify" toggle in the notifnotification settings that makes it so pebble watches don't receive "2 unread messages, 3 unread messages, etc" by allowing you to turn off textra notifications in the pebble app. The problem is if you use the pebble notify you can't respond to messages from the pebble watch. This is frustrating because I like that feature from the pebble.

    So my options are read my texts but can't respond, only able…

  20. notification icon not shown when you already are in a conversation

    When Textra is on a conversation and the phone is locked, if you receive a message from this conversation, no icon will appear, which means that you have no no way to know if you have a new message.

    More critical, you can even miss this message if you don't check carefully your conversation.

    This is a real issue imho...
