Auto sms
It would be a great addition to this app an option for auto reply when set with costum message and also auto send message + costum message for a special date, like birthday and so on.. And to have ability to setup costum messages for every date, not only one for all of them..

no shutter sound
be able to turn off shutter sound in app. cant take a picture without everyone knowing while in a text.

Love the app.
I text with iPhone users and they are always liking our disliking messages in the text chain. It's annoying in that it is displayed as "name of person liked - (insert entire message). Would it be possible to have like /dislike or up vote/ down vote functionality? Or have the likes /disliking displayed as icons rather than quoting the entire message?
I'm sure integrating with iOS messages is a huge pain. Just a thought.

Option to use the AMOLED black theme in automatic night mode.
Currently, we can only use the "Dark" option for light/night mode. I'd like to see an option to use the AMOLED black mode instead.

sim1 sim2
textra random selects sim1 and sim2 for sending. in settings sim 1 is default for sending. must check which sim is using every time...
is it a bug ? only me?

when sending text
when you are sending text and you have the delay. you are not allowed to send another text delayed after that. you have to forced the 1st text through and then send the 2nd text. would be great send a delayed text then send another delayed text. I'm not talking about scheduling a text, but when you have it delayed.

Message character count
Please add option to display number of characters used while composing message. So we can monitor the cost per message especially here inthe Philippines where 1.00PhP per 160 characters.

Colored names for contacts in mms group messages
It would be useful if we had the option to make contact names (rather than the contact's message bubble) in a group message with different colors. Either random or manually, doesn't really matter. This is done in Google's stock Messages app and it's a sleek way to differentiate people in a group text.

Default sim per conversation
For dual sim users, it would be very useful to have an option to set a default sim for each conversation. It could be added in the "customise this conversation" menu.

blocked phrases
add an option to automatically block any text message containing a word or phrase of your choice. it should also block any source containing the phrase as well. example; setting the phrase ".com" would be able to block people sending you text messages through email accounts.
to add this to the menu you would need only to create sub menus under "blacklisted". to get to blacklisted numbers/phrases you would navigate to, "settings > blacklisted > sources" or "phrases" then to add anything to either list just open up the list and tap the + symbol to add to the list.

Mms bulk / chat quick switch
I sometimes send out mass texts and don't want them to be in a chat together. I switch between the two settings when I do this but it would be nice to have the ability to do that on the fly when beginning a message. Maybe a drop down option with the add more contacts button?

compatiblility with imessage "likes"
so I message has this feature where people can like a message the same way they can like something on Facebook. I would have sent to Android comes through fulan text message. is there a way to add a feature to scan for this kind of text message and convert into a "like"?
it would make textra the only app compatible with imessage

I hate the automatic punctuation. ..
There needs to be an option where you can turn the automatic punctuation off. . It puts question marks where there's not a question. . Periods Where there desert need to be One . I hate this feature. Please make that an option. And not a default.

Away Message function
Would it be possible to implement an away message function? So say for instance, you just want a break from everyone, but you don't want people to think you're ignoring them. So you set up an automatic message to send, until you turn it off.

group/bulk switch
create an option to assign bulk message or group chat attribute to individual groups. Verizon message+ has this feature.
currently in Textra you can only select to default group messages as bulk or chat.
