  1. Don't notify for reactions, likes

    It would be great if we could turn off notifications when people react to or "like" texts. They tend to come rapidly, and it's annoying to get the notification sound for each one.

    can we have the functionality to like, love, laugh at an image or video? just as you can with texts and links? as of now, there is no way to like an image on textra

    Would love to have a button to press to report spam messages, being we have so many now days. Spam needs reporting so someone can do something about it!! Blocking them afterwards!

  9. Encryption for messages (like signal or telegram)

    It's the only thing make me want to leave textra. I Think that, this application with secure message (encrypted) will be the best SMS app.

    Thank you to think about a PC version of Textra to read AND write sms directly from PC, as we can do with Messenger and WhatsApp... 😉

    auto-reply for text messages when you're not available; when you receive a text, person sending text automatically gets a message that you're not available etc.

  14. We need textra to support Smart watches.

    It would be great if Textra could support Smart watches. I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 45mm and I can't text through Textra on it, I always need to use the OEM Samsung text app and its not even close to good. Smartwatches are getting bigger and bigger and we need textra on it! Please make this happen 👌.

    my friends with iphones can react to my texts, but i cannot react to theirs. it would be nice to have an option to respond to a text with any emoji, and the ability to "like" or "love" a text.

  17. archive and category

    I LOVE this app but it would be nice to add archive and also message categories. I run a business and on my other app I can organize messages into categories I can create like personal and colleges and associates etc. whatever I want. also a pass code would be cool too

    for your text messages you can have categories ex: personal, business, spam, subscription or whatever you would like and be able to separate the conversations by page or hit all to show all conversations with everyone

  20. Voice Messages

    The support of sending voice through text would be awesome! The feature could include to record, preview, then send the voice message, like a text, instead of send on completion.
    Audio message attachment support would also be nice for sending voice memos from the phone.
