Add a tag/name of the network for each sim rather than sim badge number only

Deleted Message
great idea of having time to undo deleted message, I would say, maybe have control the time for undo option not just 20 secs. Also an option for certain messages or group of receivers when deleted go to a specific trash in case we deleted by mistake and after the undo time option. I use textra for work and once I delete by mistake working message and there was nothing I could do.

Custom Backgrounds
Hi! Super app! Thanks vm!! ... It would be awesome if there was a setting to change the background (and other parameters) of each conversation screen--much like in native Android. That's the only feature I really miss... ;)

Sending Multiple Pictures on 1 text
SUGGESTION: Making it so we can send multiple pictures on 1 text, instead of several pictures on several texts. 🤔🙏🏽

light and dark
I would like option for light and dark theme in just the app. not just from the phone theme but to be able to make the app itself stay in dark mode. I don't like really bright screens.

Filter for blocking texts
simply keeping the notification silent doesn't prevent the harassment. the texts are still there, there's just a stack of them now.
I've gotten 10 political messages in the last 4 days, I need the ability to filter these by the phrases they use in every message.
perhaps blocking the message isn't feasible for some reason, so perhaps we can auto-delete using key words, I know it ain't perfect, but I need some relief from this harassment.
please Textra's dev team, or person, please. so many ppl want this feature.

Enter to first unread message
When you enter a chat (individual or group), snap to the first unread message instead of the bottom of the conversation. Particularly in group chats, where you may have many unread messages, going to the last read/first unread message for ease of reading would be nice. See Signal messenger for an example.

On a dual-SIM phone, when one SIM is turned off, the app should behave as if only one SIM is present.

Search contacts by name
When searching for who to send to in a new message, it also comes up with results for the number based on those letters. Meaning, if I search "Kev" for Kevin, it will give me contacts not only with "Kev" in the name, but also if the phone number of the contact contains "538". I'm not sure why anyone would use letters to search for numbers in their contacts list. But this should at least be a configurable option for the search.

allow reaction bar edits
I like the reaction bar which pops up with a tap, but I want to choose which emoji options show up on that bar.

Set a reminder for a message or thread that comes back up as a notification in X minutes/hours/days would be so helpful!
