    textra should create a keyboard with their emojis (which are really amazing) for downloading and everyone could use the emojis they'd like in any app.

  4. Custom backgrounds

    I really love this app, and I would love to see custom backgrounds just like the stock Android app. Giving the opportunity to have custom backgrounds would be a great addition To Textra.

    remove emoji bar from keyboard screen.
    I see on your Google play example images a keyboard screen without emoji .. I want that .. I don't use emoji

    Given such a good experience with textra, dialer app from you, the developers is expected to be a must buy for users. Good example to start with is TruePhone dialer app imho

  8. Detect and stop pocket texts

    Somehow, I happen to pocket text about once a month. Sometimes these texts are incredibly annoying to the receiver, either because of when it was sent or because the receiver does not appreciate being bothered by a non-text. I would be ecstatic if this fine app would be able to detect a pocket text (if the majority of the words are not found in the dictionary it's probably a pocket text) and then stop the text from going through, unless you perform a certain action to confirm that you do actually want it sent.

    Can the Grouping of messages done based on the contact instead of contacts number. This will be helpful in checking all the conversations of a contact in a single view.

    Screen Effects are messages that take over the entire screen with an animation and sound. For instance, if you're congratulating someone, you can make confetti rain all over their screen.

    Just write a message, then use Force Touch or long-press on the send button until the Bubble Effect screen is activated. Then, tap on the Screen button at the top of the screen.

  18. Add quick option in text composition screen to allow sender to switch between group chat responses or bulk responses

    Currently, if I compose a group message and want the replies to come only to me, I have to go back out of the text and into the settings in order to change to the bulk option. If composing another text and I want the replies to go to the entire group, again, I have to go out of the text, into settings, and switch to chat. It would be so helpful to have a button that allows the sender to determine how replies should be distributed for that current text.

  19. Import previously sent texts

    The app only imports my received texts. I would like it to have the option to import sent texts as well. I have recently switched and it would be nice, as it adds context to many conversations.

  20. Notifications

    I have a smart watch and when I receive multiple messages from someone the watch reads "2 unread messages from..." because this is what the motivation reads until you expand the notification. if at all possible there should be an option within the settings to keep the messages bundled as they are now or have them come through as individual text messages so that people with a smart watch are able to review all texts without having to pick up the phone. the standard messaging app does this and so does alot of other great messaging however I can't bring…
