  1. keep emojis non binary cos more people are nonbinary

    in a strict sense, very few are hyper femme or hyper masc cis people. emojis are just reactions. I can wear my gender with a choice of which shirt.

  2. dark bubble colors

    I am visually impaired and find white text on a very dark background is much easier to read. if we could have a very dark blue bubble option or a black bubble option with white text that would be great!

  3. preventing unintentional keystrokes from creating drafts

    One unintentional keystroke (for example, on spacebar), and the app registers it as a "draft". I spend a lot of time deleting these "drafts". Easy solution would be to set Textra to only save draft when more than x keystrokes.

  4. Reply to a specific bubble in a conversation

    is it possible to have a reply feature in a specific bubble? so I may send replies to certain bubbles in a conversation. this is a great feature!

  5. no replied messages sorting/label?

    So if one gets tons of messages, it's easy to forget to reply. How can one sort or auto label all messages I haven't replied to yet? If anyone knows how or another app that does this please share

  7. Add person to single chat to make group

    Need ability to add a person or persons to a single chat to create a group rather than starting from scratch. It's not uncommon to be in chats and want to it send to that person and another. More efficient and intuitive to 'add person' than stumble around, realize can't, and build new group with that person + another/others

  13. Add a setting to alway run full screen.

    When I click on text from my contacts, it opens Textra, but in a mode that doesn't use the full screen. I like to always have whatever I'm doing use the full screen. I would love an option to set textra to always do that.

  15. mms interface to see if I have one

    Actually mms send a notification if he can't download it... Is it possible to add functionality that add a small system text message to give the capacity to see the weight of the sms and a download button If we have deleted the notification by error.

  16. change default picture folder

    When adding a photo, it defaults to the Recents folder - there is no way to change the default from recents to gallery. You have to expand and select the folder to choose every time. Please make a default option in order to skip directly to gallery view. Recents is the most annoying option that cannot be turned off completely.

    Ability to save an abbreviation and it's expanded text, so when you enter the abbreviation the full text is entered.
