  5. Revert back please, lost functionality

    Latest update (4.69) 10/31/23 turned the carriage return button to a send button. Now it's a check mark that sends the message. No option to make paragraphs in text anymore. Doesn't matter what keyboard I use. Galaxy s21

    and on foldable devices we can have fully shown list view of conversation, and the right show the fonversation selected

  8. Stop censoring my cursing

    If I use voice-to-text from my keyboard and use a curse word, Textra always censors the words on the text message.
    Please stop doing that, or at least give me the control settings to change it.

  10. contact-based auto responder

    I would like to see a feature where I can have an automatic response to specific people. Like an ex, or a client I've fired, or some other person harassing me via text messages. For one reason or another, I can't blocklist this person.

  13. Audio Message Screen Timeout

    It would be nice to have the screen timeout overriden when playing an audio message. I like my screen timeout set to 2 minutes and if there's an audio message longer than that, it pauses and I have to unlock my phone again. I know I could change my screen timeout, but I have reasons for keeping it at 2 minutes. Just a suggestion!

  14. Since you update so often why don't you fix the glitch that causes the names we've entered into textra to disappear! I want to send a quic!

    Fix app so my names of contacts don't disappear everytime you update the App!

    It is incredibly annoying.

  17. Recover Deleted Messages!!!

    I've accidentally deleted a message from a loved one and have no way to recover it. Why? Literally every message service - email, text, dms - has an option to recover or restore deleted messages for a short period of time.

    Please add. For the time, I'll have to use a different messaging app. I can't risk losing any more messages permanently.

    I love that you can name group chats, but I would love to be able to delete the chats and start a new chat by the group chat name.
