  3. Select text in message

    how can I select text within sms? I often get addresses and people often throw it in the middle of a text. I'd like to be able to highlight just the address, or whatever part of the message I need, so I can paste it elsewhere.

  4. Textra app for Wear OS (Android Wear)

    Hello! I have recently gotten an Android Wear watch and I noticed that there is not a Textra app for it. In order to text using my phone number from my watch, I must change the default texting app on my phone from Textra to the stock app. I live Textra and want to use it on my smartwatch. Thanks

  5. Remove iOS reaction messages (liked an image, loved "..."

    I have a family text thread that is comprised of 8 iOS users and 2 Android users. I hate getting reaction type message responses that send to everyone but on Android phones there is no concept of likes or reactions to a message so it comes through like the examples below. I would love to be able to have those messages immediately removed from sight with no indication of a message received. Probably the best way to do it is to classify them as they come in and maybe store them with an isReaction attribute with a value of 1…

    The ability to change the font size with more options, such as smallest, smaller, small, normal, large, larger, largest. or even customization tp the point where the user could choose his own font size.

  8. Show number of unread messages on app icon

    In other text apps, normally there appears a number on the app icon when new messages arrive, showing the number of unread messages. I cannot find this option in Textra.

    I think there should be a customizable color wheel picker available for choosing bubble colors. Many colors I would have liked to use were not available.

    it would be a nice feature similar to iMessage when you receive SMS messages or Rich text messages from friends to be able to click and hold on the friends message to choose a emoji reaction

  15. Group Messaging: ability to respond to individual in group or everyone.

    Wait... how are we talking about all of these other ideas and this one hasn't been implemented yet. it's the most standard feature on any messaging app. When sending a group message there should be an option to turn on and off the ability to have the members of the group respond to me directly or to everyone in the group. And I should be able to respond to a specific user directly without everyone in the group getting the message.   16. Allow users to set a custom send sound.

    The in-app Play Send Sound doesn't work for me; it's much delayed. Would be nice to set a sound that works best.

  17. square contact photos look so much better. please provide the option.

    If it ain't broke, then don't fix it. Square contact photos looks so much better than circle ones. Of course, that is a matter of opinion, so please provide the option, square or circle.

  20. Time stamp and date

    I want every message to show the date and time under each message. I dont like having to scroll to the top to find the date or swip to the left to see the time. I want it simple and straight forward "right there" under every message like every other SMS app. OR i want the option to set it that way.
