different sounds by time of day
this is nit-picking, I know, but... the ability to define 2 different notifications sounds, one for 'awake' hours, something else for overnight. I need a louder, ruder sound for overnight. thx!

auto theme contacts in Dark mode.
can you add options to for dark colors in auto theme contacts. i love the options but some of the colors the app chooses are too bright. i use my phone in darkmode all the time. i prefer cooler colors like deep red , purple ,deep orange. compared to the bright teal and light blue colors that show up

spam blocking
I would like to see an on/off toggle to block messages from email addresses. This would help to decrease unwanted spam. Most come from weird email addresses.

Making it easier to get OTPs
Hi,
I think it would be great if when receiving OTPs instead of showing the message in the notification, show the numbers big and clear, and also an option to copy them. Truecaller does this, its a great feature but i am loyal to textra :)

I'd love to be able to go into the search function and put in a date and be able to see all the texts I received on that day.

Prevent notifications when number isn't in address book.
During voting season getting spammed from one-off txt msgs that aren't in my phone book, and only show up once. (Blocking doesn't help). Would rather not get notifications, when i get those, but dont mind them showing up in the list of msgs.

Differentiate phone numbers for same contact
When one contact has multiple phone numbers registered (home, office, mobile,...), when I try to write a new message and search for the contact, it would be great to see if the number displayed is home, office or whatever. Same thing in the conversation view : I have 2 conversations named Dad, but I'd like to differentiate which one it is.

Optional Group Chat Warning
Add an option to warn you this is a Group Chat so you don't accidentally reply to the first (and only visible) person in the chat something embarrassing because of others in the Group.

BASIC PHOTO EDITOR
With so many screenshots being shared, it's nice to be able to crop out superfluous information.
I would LOVE a basic crop-tool when I go to send a pic; just a little pencil, top right, where I can crop a pic - extra points if it has a colour filter, and a censor bar!
(Twitter has a great lil in-app editor; for inspo)

vibration pattern
be able to change vibration pattern to a variety of different vibrations rather then one long or two long, example - two fast short ones or two delayed ones etc
