  2. RCS & End to end encryption

    Would be awesome if Textra team could implement RCS and get the same features on apps that support RCS like Google messenger while texting.

    End to end encryption would definitely be great for Textra users. Kinda like the signal app or IMessage where texting is secure when users are using the same app but unencrypted when they're not.

    Maybe with RCS technology broadening the boundaries of sms/mms maybe there could be a way to encrypt the messages through that. That way encryption could also be supported with users who have RCS and not just by using the same app.

    Backup/restore of settings. would be useful to be able to backup and restore settings in the event of having to do master reset or change device.

    Phone companies have finally switched over.
    I would like to use this.
    but there isn't many apps that don't support it.
    I'll have to move to Android messages if there's no support

  5. Able to send your gps location in a text...when recipient clicks on it, it opens in Google maps.

  10. custom notification tones for each contact

    The standard Android messaging app pulls the custom text tone set for each contact as that contacts notufication tone and any without a preset tone use the default. Could that same cistimization be applied here so the user knows who is contacting them without having to remove the device from their pocket

  12. Block SMS with filtered words

    It would be great to block sms that contains filtered words for spam messages. (Unknown numbers selling products and offering fake loans) Thanks!

  13. Support Split Screen

    I love Textra and the only thing that I miss from the native texting app is that it would work in the split screen so that I could watch youtube videos, scroll through twitter ect while still texting!

  18. Move/Archive to SD card

    Having the ability to move Textra SMS to my SD would be beneficial to those who like to save text messages. App data can become quite large over the course of some time due to text messages not being deleted. If moving the app to the SD card is a problem due to Android restrictions, having the ability to archive text messages would be just as beneficial.

  19. Passcode Lock

    Textra is amazing on my device and BLOWS GoSMS(which I use) out of the water. However the ONLY feature holding me back is the lack of privacy due to no security over the inbox such as a pass code. If this feature could be implemented im sure myself and many others would make the jump official!

  20. Ability to Change Enter Key to a Smiley Button

    I had this on my previous text app EvolveSMS. You could change the enter button on the keyboard to a button that would take you to the smileys
