  1. No Unread Notification on App Icon & Notification Swipe = read messages?

    ust downloaded Textra and love the app, but 2 things are preventing me from making it the default app.

    1) When I get a text, if I swipe away the notification, why does it count that swipe as a read message? How can I swipe away the notification without it marking the message as read?

    2) Unlike the Samsung default messaging app, the Textra icon doesn't display the number of unread messages. So I have to go into the app to see how many unread messages there are, if any.
    How can I change this?

  3. Default sim for dual sim phones

    please provide a way to set the default sim instead of sim 1 always (I frequently accidentally send sms using sim 1 when it is only used for calls). also an option to ask everytime which sim to use would be nice

  5. Change App Name

    I hope there's an option to use the more generic app name like "Messaging", "Message" or Text Message like the rest of text messaging app, rather than the brand name Textra for Home shortcut.

  7. Typing and read notifications on textra

    Any updates on this? Samsung Messages App does it with the help of RCS, why can't Textra do the same?

    Add an option to display a small animation when you receive a message like "Happy Birthday" or "Happy New Year" just like on iMessage.

  11. Bubble styles that spanthe width of the screen

    The current bubble styles use only half the screen width. This causes messages to be elongated vertically. Half the screen is not being used. Please add bubble styles that use the full width of the screen (or as much of the width as possible). That would make messages much more readable.

  12. Group SMS

    Please add option of adding or removing recipients in a group.

    Sometimes the group members change so you need to create a new group everytime you have to remove or add a new recipient.

    It would be better if there is just an add or remove option so I don't have to create a new group everytime. Thank you

  13. badge banner and vibration options

    The Textra icon should have a badge with the number of unread messages like the original message app for samsung. Also in the lock screen when when a message is received it should have a banner that sits on your lock screen saying you have a message just like the original app for samsung. I also like how the phone vibrates when I pick up the phone and a message has been received to let me know in case i don't look at my phone when I pick it up.
