  2. getting a reaction as a separate text in group texts

    would be great if it didn't do that I get a ton of texts in a group chat just from people reacting or emphasizing a message.

  6. Saving Texted Photo to Gallery Problem

    Just started using this app and somewhat happy with it. However, when trying to save a photo, I get the following message: "Failed to load resource. There were 3 root causes: java.lang.RuntimeException(setDataSource failed: status = OxFFFFFFEA)." The java message is repeated twice more and ending with "call GlideException#logRootCauses(string) for more detail. How do you fix this issue?

    in samsung messages there's a pop up alternative menu with delete, copy text, select text, foward, share, star message, add to reminders & view details. adding translate would also be a nice feature.

  12. Secure Chat Lock & Hide

    Individual Conversation Locking: The ability to lock specific chats (private or group) using a PIN, Fingerprint, or Face ID, separate from the main app lock.
    ​Hidden Mode: Once locked, the chat should be hidden from the main chat list. It would only reappear when a specific code is entered into the search bar or through a "Hidden Folders" section.
    ​Privacy Notifications: Notifications from these locked chats should not display the sender's name or the message preview (e.g., showing only "1 New Message").

  13. Unread or Follow Up capabilities

    Textra would be exponentially better if there was a way to mark messages as unread, or have a bold Follow Up tag. It would make it so much easier to answer messages that have been read during the day and get pushed down the que.

  14. Consider unlabeled numbers as 'mobile' number

    I was wondering why i could not text a person in my contacts when I realized i had not selected the "mobile' label in my contacts for whatever reason.
    Please update the mobile only toggle to include unlabeled phone numbers since most people only have mobile phones now

    It's been great to be able to add any emoji reaction to a text, but it's difficult to find the one I want. I want to type to search, like other emoji selectors allow.

  16. Change font size on the fly by pinching and zooming, instead of having to dig through the Settings menu to find the font size options

    Google's Messages app does this. It would be great if Textra could add this feature.
