    "Unfortunately, the global standard for the SMS protocol does not support the concept of "Read" receipts. Therefore, it's not possible to add this feature to Textra." Straight from the knowledge base. You are asking for a feature that uses RCS messaging, not SMS. Textra is an SMS app.
