  1. Add a date stamp to the message. Presently, sliding the messages to the left reveal just the time. Seeing the date would be very helpful.

  2. Notification icon won't dissappear even though I have already read the message.

    This happens often. I have a galaxy s 6 on Verizon with latest firmwares and updates. How to fix?

  3. an option to hide a message or make it invisible like a private folder

    Some place to store messages you don't want to delete but that you don't want to have right there up front

  4. Upgrading process sucks

    Was not happy at all when the ads began, attempted to upgrade, my perfectly good PayPal account was declined, Verizon account declined, not giving my credit card information through an app, ridiculous that you can ONLY upgrade through the app... I guess you don't want my money

    I would love a way to view all my locked/saved messages. I love how I can lock a message so it won't be deleted, but I have no quick way to find it later when I need it.

  7. Fix residual text from sent messages

    More often than not, when I send a message using the quick text reply popup (don't actually go into the app), the message sends and when I go to send another message later, the same text i typed earlier is still sitting there waiting to be sent, even though it was already delivered. Please fix this.

    It appears you can only block a person from texting you if you already have texts from them. I would like to block a number/person who I don't currently have messages from.

  12. Slide top bar to go to prev/next message

    Kind of like flipping through messages in Gmail app, only you may have to use the top bar (with the name and picture) because left/right slide function in body of message is already in use.

  13. Select all messages of a single discussion to export them via email

    Like it's actually possible (and it's already great to just have readable formated text and not a strange or xml file like with most of saving apps), but that would be perfect to have the ability to select all messages from a single discussion to export them all.
    I just can't manually select more than 18.000 messages, but I don't want to lose them, and stock sms doesn't read sms from Titanium Backup saves (of Textra app and data).

  14. No names on Textra notifications

    Hi, I've been having a weird problem with Textra for the last 2 or 3 days. All of a sudden my text message notifications started appearing without any names on them, and with only the pound sign in the picture bubble. Strangely, the names appear properly in the app itself, and also in the quick reply box, but never in the notifications. Any idea what might be causing this problem, and how to fix it? I can't think of anything that I might have done to precipitate the issue. My phone is a Galaxy S6 Edge running Lollipop 5.0.2. Thanks…

  17. Manually edit custom vibration patterns

    The custom vibration implementation so far is pretty nifty, but it needs a more fine grained, detailed control. It would be easier to get the exact pattern a user is looking for if they started by entering it the way it is now, then transitioned to a textview to set the timings exactly how they want them.

    Alternately, if you want to do a bit more work, some form of slider with tabs at the beginning and end of the vibrating segments that the user can move would probably be a bit more user friendly, but personally I'm cool with…

  18. Outlook

    Received message from Textra team stating there are possible issues with lag and syncing outlook contacts. The suggestion was to stop my outlook from syncing contacts.

    REALLY!!! unless I'm misunderstanding some thing not syncing Contacts IS NOT AT OPTION. I use my phone daily for work. Fix the apps functionality with Outlook.

    Please have each message show the time it was sent/received.
    Currently it only shows the time intermittently, not for every message.
