  1. I'd like to be able to set a default app for adding pics and videos. frustrating to have to pick the same app every time you add a picture.

    when hitting the "+" and choosing picture option it should ask to set a default app to choose picture. same for video.

  2. searching by contact name

    the ability to search by contact is essential. i rarely search for message content. i need to quickly find all of the messages from a particular contact. messages can get pushed way down when you receive multiple text messages.

    Text forwarding could use some formatting work to improve readability, including to/from info and date/timestamps.

    I tried to use this feature today and forwarded a badly spaced and nigh indiscernible jumble of words. I finally just sent many screenshots.

  15. add telegram integation for online users just like hangouts app

    Texting in textra is great, however it would be awesome if we could use this app to chat with online friends for free. for that, you can use the open source Telegram API. This would make Textra even the best client for Telegram!

  16. send and receive attachments on my sprint phone connected with google voice.

    Google voice separates the attachments, maybe your app could re-attach them?
