  1. wild card

    consider adding the ability to define wild card phone numbers. I get notifications from AT&t that come from a wide variety of incoming numbers. some I would like to admit. right now I have to open up Textra to all numbers instead of being able to reject some that are unknown.

  2. Date options for messages to keep

    There's options for # of SMS and MMS messages to keep, how about an option to keep messages newer than a specific date.

  3. Blocklist: accidental delete

    View and Delete being right next to each other in the Blocklisted settings screen will cause accidental deletions - can they be moved apart?

  4. hide some sms

    It could be a good idea to have the option to hide some sms
    bécasse sometime we don't want another one people read some message (to organize a birthday for exemple :)

  7. Float to top bubbles

    When composing a new chat, I think it'd be nice(r) if chat bubbles float to the top of the chat (or as far up as they'll go beneath previous messages) instead of defaulting towards the bottom.

    Or, we should at least have the choice from within in-app Settings to choose between float-to-top or sink-to-bottom.

  8. separate inboxes for dual sims

    Two folders, or inboxes.
    Each message stored in the relevant inbox, by the specific sim card it was sent to.
    the user can see he has 2 messages in his work inbox, and 3 in the personal inbox.

  9. OTP settings

    Allow a setting that seperates notifications for SMS and OTP, this will allow users to:
    - select a different ringtone for each
    - customize notifications independently

    This exists on a couple of other competitors apps

    It would be really amazing if I could. Quickly nick name a chat so I don't have to add everyone to my phone. Would also be useful for chats.

  13. airplane mode timestamp

    When turning my airplane mode off all of the text messages come on at the present time. is there a way to timestamp at the incoming text messages with the time it really did arrive instead of the time I turn airplane mode on?

  18. save a text thread to save text thread to photo album

    I would like to suggest the ability to save a text thread or part of to the photo album just as it looks in Extra. I know there are screen shots, copy and paste, or screen recording but being able to have the option in the app would be great.

  20. Select Reaction

    I would really like to choose which reactions I can use. The ones provided are not really usefull for me. I would like 'laughing' 'smiling' 'heart' 'sad face' and 'wink'.

    Also, being able to react to pictures, gifs, and videos are so important, and makes up most people's conversations, especially mine. Best case scenario we can react to those. Even if it gives as a toggle option 'Loved image' is better than nothing at all. I have people in a group message that likely think Im ignorging them bc I cannot react to their pictures of their kids graduation. Thats…
