Swiping Options / Other Requests, Features
PLEASE ADD THE ABILITY TO CHANGE SWIPE OPTIONS (i.e. reply, read/unread, etc). otherwise, we have to long-press on the conversation in order to complete such tasks with the exception of call and delete which can already be done.
Also, please add option to customize avatars as far as size as well as having the ability to tap on contact image/avatar to process whatever task (ex. deleting multiple conversation versus having to long-press a conversation and so on.

viewing texts in the app from notifications
a toggle for viewing messages from the notification bar immediately in the full app rather than in a pop-up window and having to click "open app" to see other text threads.

Option to change conversation bubbles to different colors.
Have the option to change the conversation bubbles to different available colors after they have been sent or received without setting them as the default conversation bubble colors.

Chat/Bulk group indicator
There is no way to know whether group text is set to chat or bulk without going into settings. Have a switch appear anytime more than one recipient is added to a text, giving us the option right there. Keep that switch visible within the texting thread and place an indicator within our list of texts so we know which threads are bulk and which are chat.

Organize By
The "Organize By" setting would allow a user to change how messages are organized. "By Phone Number" is the current functionality, or "By Contact" which would list all conversations together from a Contact regardless of the Contact's Phone Number used. Example: Using the "By Contact" setting would merge (no data change, for display purposes only) all conversations/messages from Contact "John Smith" together rather than separating them by Home, Mobile, and Work phone numbers.

country code
don't convert 4 digit short codes into country codes. 9225 and 8225. messages from these short codes used to be separate now they are in one conversation

Add App Lock
Before Textra will open, enforce App Lock to require biometrics, PIN, etc, in order to access the UI/UX.

Sync to Multiple Devices
Be able to send and receive messages from multiple devices running the Textra app. It would be nice to install Textra on a tablet and have access to all my messages there as well (including responding to live messages). The devices could be linked via WiFi or Bluetooth.

Auto spacing for number entry.
Automatically put spaces when input changes from or to a number. This is constantly an issue for me. Many times per week. I know I'm not the only one. If you need examples I'm glad to provide.

Je voudrais avoir différentes tonalités de vibration lors des réceptions de SMS. En effet la vibration actuelle n'est pas assez longue et forte et il arrive que je n'entende pas quand je reçois des messages. Un grand merci à vous 🙂

Custom Vibration Patterns
I downloaded Textra years ago solely because it allowed me to set a different vibration pattern for texts vs other notifications on my phone. Since then I've fallen in love with Textra, and have been a huge advocate of using this app.
However, without being able to differentiate a text notification from any other notification, I can no longer endorse Textra. In fact, I'm considering switching to a new app myself.
Please bring back custom vibration patterns, or at least a few different options to choose from.

Make App Compatible with Android OS watches
I have the Samsung Watch 4. I would love for this app to be compatible with my watch!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
All the other apps mentioned (MightyText, Pulse, WhatsApp etc.) have made their apps compatible with Android watches, why not take that next step too...? Just a thought... 🤷🏾♀️😊

Forwarding to a different device
Hello.
It sure would be nice if there was a setting where I could automatically forward my messages to another device (cell phone, tablet). Can Textra add this capability? This would be similar to what is available with the iPhone messaging app.4 votes
