  1. Add/remove people from group chats

    You should add the option to add or remove people from group chats. This would be greatly beneficial when people have a change in phone number but you don't want to start a new group chat.

  2. Galaxy 4 smartwatch

    Is there any way Textra can be adapted for the new generation of Samsung Galaxy watches? I've used Textra for so long, but if I want to use my watch for notifications, I don't have the choice at this time other than the native Samsung messages app. :(

  3. Not looking to submit an idea, looking for support

    I have had this issue for a year , my paid Textra no longer populate my contact list when I reinstall. It used to work long ago, now I'm getting an incomplete contact list.

  5. be able to add attachments other than pictures

    it seems like there is no direct way in the Textra app to send an attachment that isn't a picture. ex. audio files

  6. Call Button in Conversation Thread

    Would it be possible to add the call button to the top of the conversation thread? This would save some taps in case you wanted to call a contact instead of message back.

  10. Group Chat Multicolor

    Since half of the reason I love using Textra is setting a custom color for each of my contacts, we should be able to set group chats to be multicolored, or even just rainbow 🌈

  11. Interpret iMessage "tapback" icons

    So annoying when iPhone users "Liked/Emphasized/Questioned a ____" and the response reprints my entire text. Google Messaging app interprets this now. It would be great if Textra Pro would, too. I volunteer to Beta test it!

  13. Make "look up" for specific words in messages

    Create the option to look up for certain words/numbers within the app to find messages that includes them, helping to find important info or just to find something from past messages without going individually into weeks worth of texts

  15. Implement RCS or Chat Messaging

    iMessage-like features for your android cellular messaging app. The three main features this would allow for would be:

    • Allows for Read Receipts
    • Shows when a user is typing
    • Allows for higher file sizes to be sent with Textra (up to 105 MB)

  17. change order

    would be great if we had thw ability to change the order of our messages so that they arent listed in chronological order. that way, we can access something important from last month rather than scrolling through our various friend chats to find the person we are looking for.

  18. Profile Pics

    Can you add the option of importing profile pics from other apps? Pulling in PFPs from IG, FB, etc would be great. Or if that's not possible, perhaps some customization in how profile pics appear. Just staring at a bubble with initials isn't the best look, in my personal opinion. More customization would be great!

  19. There should be 2 separate options available for text color for sent and received bubbles.

    ...especially when the app is set to use custom colors for every chat. for example I use white bubbles for sent messages and black text. but for received messages it doesn't always fit to have black text say on purple and blue ad pink.. please fix this in the next update. thank you
