don't know exactly what to do to make it easier to share to Textra. when I go to share Textra is sometimes not available especially when I'm sharing from Textra to Textra. please, make that easier.

customizable emoji set based on contact
When speaking to friends on a Samsung, or a pixel or an iphone, they each see different emoji sets. fortunately I use Textra! and can change my emoji set to theirs so I can see exactly what they see, so I know I'm conveying the right message. unfortunately we have to go back to main settings to change it each time you want to do this with another contact.
add the emoji set customization that Textra already supports to the unique contact customizations!7 votes -

Combine threads from separate numbers with the same contact
if someone has two numbers under the same contact they could optionally show up in the same chat thread with some distinction between the numbers. replying to them could have an option for which number to reply to, but could default to the one they most recently used, or default to one chosen in conversation settings unless either of you recently messaged with one of their non-default numbers.

longer send delays?
i would love the option to delay text messages 30 seconds or a minute because I have Asperger's and tend to double text all the time. having it delay longer allows me to collect my thoughts and edit the post again without having to schedule it or double text.
Also it would be helpful if send button optionally didn't also bypass the delay because it's too easy to habitually click it twice.

C'est très pénible, mon icône de l'application me dit avoir un message à lire (avec le petit point bleu) mais tout mes messages sont lu comme faire pour corriger ce bug

subject line when forwarding text
Enabling of a Subject Line when forwarding an SMS or MMS to an email address. The software will detect if you are forwarding to an e-mail address and then prompt for a Subject line, which you can fill in if you choose to do so. SMS gateway can then choose whether to pass along the Subject line when it communicaged with SMTP server.

Turn off reactions
I can't stand seeing all those little hearts and thumbs up next to every message.... Make a way to turn it off

move the notification bubble
please allow the user to change the bubble location on notifications. when the keyboard popup appears it covers the bubble requiring the dismissal of the kybd to dismiss the bubble. if the bubble was at the top it would save keystrokes

Please fix the delay in sending messages
Just fix the app darn it used to be great but crashes all the time now. I have to unload and reload once a week at least. Now I can't get the time delay to work at all.

imagine if you are able to customize the backround of your text like a image or some sort

Custom Background
This app would be perfect if we could customize the look further by being able to change the background of each conversation and list view. The light and dark modes are boring. Samsung's Message app allows this however it is not as powerful as this app. It would be great to customize the color or choose an image from our gallery.

Spam Protection
this app needs a spam Protection setting. I've recently have been getting an overwhelming amount of spam text and there is really no way to stop or filter them out using Textra. I can do this however with the original text app.

reply to specific messages
To be able to reply to a specific message by swiping on a message which copies it and I can attach a written reply.

Backround
Maybe you should make this app were you could change your background, to like a preset one, or a custom one. That is something I would love to have in this app.
