  2. eliminate Gmail message in textra inbox

    stop Gmail messages from coming in as texts. blacklisting works but why not stop them before they come in.

    should be able to block, then delete messages. and wholesale delete all blocked messages

  4. Dual Sim - Dual Alert Tones??

    Hello there. it would be really great if there was a way for us dual Sim phone users to associate a different alert tone for each of the sims in our phones. With the standard messaging app on my Samsung Galaxy S9, I was able to have different message alert tones for each of my sims, so I could instantly recognise whether the text/MMS message was a personal one or a work one. Can this be integrated into Textra as currently, all my messages have the same alert tone and doesn't differentiate between my two sims. Thanks

    I really want to be able to change my background and not just have a white screen. I am thinking about switching messaging apps because of this. I don't like boring.

  6. Gradients color

    Hi can you please add more costumization like add gradiente colors? Like fb messenger by let us add two colors and add gradients color on balloons, bars etc

    It would be a great addition!

  7. Go back to links automatically opening with one click

    Since the latest update, there is now an extra step to clicking on links in conversations. Click, then a small rectangular box opens up where you have to click "open" just to open it.

  11. Ability to give our custom textra emoji set to friends

    Let's pretend that one day custom textra emoji set Will be a thing (or even stickers ! if emoji appears to small).

    That would be a nice idea to get a feature allowing us to chose in our contact list a few friends we want to share these custom emoji/stickers with.

    They then would receive a link to download the set inside textra and be prompted to add/activate the set for our conversation.

  12. Cursive and other cool fonts!

    we REALLY need new fonts, especially cursive, calligraphy, or other actually interesting fonts! this should totally be an option! being able to customize the font just in general for everything in the app, specific people, and even specific messages!!! please make this a thing!

  13. White APP ICON IS RUINING MY LIFE!!!

    On the S21+, the icon looks like it's cheap shortcut icon from one of those icon changers with 5000 ads. Ironically, since I love Textra and paid for it...I want to keep using it. But I had to use one of those cheap icon changers to swap the icon for something that looks like a messaging app...not a shortcut to someone's resume on Microsoft Word.

    You were SOOO close to creating the perfect app. Help! I can't stand my temporary solution because I know it's not legit. I also don't get the little notification dot on the icon.

  15. Ability to minimize pinned conversations

    Problem: Cannot have too many pinned conversations because they take up space at top and other conversations become hidden from initial view by being pushed downward.

    Solution: Be able to double tap or push an arrow that compacts the pinned chat into just the bubble and there could be a row of bubbles at the top with the pinned chats (like 4 per row). To access, you click the bubble and you go to the chat. Then you can have many different pinned conversations without them crowding out the other conversations below.

  16. Nickname new numbers

    I work with service and have contact alot by sms sending 10 sms back and forth, then finished bye bye.
    I would lite to be able to set a temporary nicknamn on the number in textra without adding the number as a contact.

    I would like to use quick replies, but all of those are in English. It would be great to be able to modify those quick reply alternatives via settings.

    There's no way there isn't a workaround for this. This is one of the main reasons I use Textra.
