custom sounds for inbound texts
love this text app, and the only drawback I see is that there's no obvious way to customise the sound file for inbound texts.

Unread count badge on app icon
Please advise how to get the badge icon to correctly represent the number of unread messages received. I've been a pro user for over a year and now experiencing issues with the message count. I've done my due diligence to correct the issue, however, the error still occurs.

Having option to deal with calls
Add option that will enable textra tp work multipurposely i.e as texting app and calls mananger(calling app) all in one.. otherwise I love everything about this app

sms delivered sound/tone at report
Must have. Very helpfull if sent an sms to someone who has the phone off or no network signal. When provider sends the delivered report it should have an option to play a sound as almost offical sms apps have.

Spam Filter based on content
You can include a spam inbox feature. Take permission from users to use the data from the messages which come from blacklisted numbers. Apply machine learning algorithm to find a prediction function that can filter spam messages. Such messages shouldn't pop on screen rather only show as unread when user opens Textra app. You can also add a "confirm" feature on the spam inbox where if user selects it as confirmed spam then that number should be blocked altogether to be delivered in inbox.

Contact Colours
Textra is well worthy of 5'rating but what would make it better - instead of scrolling sideways on what colour to choose for received & sent messages is a choice of colours you can choose to use (like in what style bubble etc) my fingers are shaky at times and it is not easy to scroll across in colours like now. That would make it a final super app in my mind

Ability to name group chats and create group avatar
I love the ability to customize group chats with a theme and special notification sound. Would it be possible to add the ability to name the group and create a special avatar for the group?

Rename Individual Conversion
You provide the ability to rename group conversations. This feature would be quite useful in a non-group (individual) conversion. The conversion is currently limited to the name as it appears in your phones contacts. Since functionality is already there, it shouldn't take a great deal of effort to implement.

spam filter by keyword
spam texts are out of control. I get daily texts from random spoofed numbers calling me by the same (wrong) name. other apps have blacklist by keyword - I like them less otherwise, but it's getting so bad I may have to switch. please consider this!

Bunch of stuff
Option to share location, auto reply suggestions, option to display contact icon next to messages, more Pie design options for custom looks, and perhaps RCS(whenever Google makes it available for 3rd party).

Night Mode
It seems that the night mode is a little off. One day I'll have it start at 10pm and the next it randomly starts at 5pm. I thought maybe it changed with the time shift but it doesn't do it every day. Even so a better option would be to let us pick the time frame for which it goes into night mode. Every one has different schedules and it would be great to set the parameters for when it goes dark to our specific ones. Thanks

Choose alternate media player
please allow us to choose a media player outside of Textra to play received media /audio files, without having to download the file first,, if my screen rotates it closes the file,, if the screen goes black, it closes the file.. THERE IS NO WAY TO PICK UP WHERE IT LEFT OFF!,, VERY MUCH FRUSTRATING ENOUGH TO CHANGE APPS . I paid for it,, hit me back to discuss it? Thanks,

Legacy support needs to be added back to current release of Textra!
Legacy support is needed when trying to send and receive mms over WiFi on the Sprint network....being a pro user of Textra I am very dissatisfied that this option has been omitted in the current release.

private secret folder
You need a private secret folder, where all messages from the selected contacts will automatically move.

Reply from lockscreen without unlocking device
There should be option to " reply to sms appearing on lockscreen without unlocking device"..this option is available in "chomp sms"
