  1. text to voice and auto execute

    if I receive a text while driving, I hear the beep and I can see it on the top window... it would be nice to hit a button right there and let it read it aloud, or auto-read if I enable that. Another scenario, I ride my motorcycle... my Sena comm unit integrates with Google Assistant and I can text or call anybody. but when a text comes back... I'm stuck. It would be nice to have Textra auto execute Text to Voice when my phone is connected to a preselected Bluetooth Device so it can read me the text…

  7. Like button/icon

    it would be great to have a "Like" button or icon to quickly respond to texts. I know that several other sms apps offer this

  8. Customize Notification Volume

    I have a Google pixel 2 xl and I cannot customize the volume level of the notification through Textra. My notification makes the same volume of noise despite my phone settings. It would be helpful to have a tab (or adjustable volume bar) in the notification tab for notification volume control.

  10. Quick Reply in tray transfers to app

    In the 'reply from tray' feature, if you press the message to open the Textra app (without sending the message), bring the Quick Reply into the app as a draft.

    Frequently I will accidentally open the text and lose the message I put in the tray. Or I will have a long message I want to review prior to sending that I have to try to read in the tray.

    I love the app by the way.

  15. Swipe Left to Delete

    Please make Textra operate like the majority of other apps... Swipe Left (not right) to delete. Also please add the ability to turn off the message delete confirmation. This should be a user preference. Thank you

  16. Please fix the delete issues

    I have shared this app with several people, many of them uninstall after accidentally deleting all their texts or a whole thread unintentionally. Please I beg you make a trash bin or archive the default or at the least an undo option. If this has been my experience, you know it is for 100000s of others as well. You are losing users way to way too easy of a fix. I stop recommending it after see the pain in their faces, text are like journals, accidental deletion is like fire came in a burned your house down along with all…

  17. Set gestures as optional

    Gestures seem like a new thing, and they're pretty annoying for my use (dismissing chat windows via swipe right, opening keyboard via swipe up on last message). I want to turn these off. thanks!

  18. No vibration on notification or settings menu solution

    If your phone is not vibrating in the settings menu and you're not getting vibrations for notifications, go to your notification settings in your phone and turn off "vibrate on silent".
