  1. Discard Drafts

    It would be nice to have an option to discard a draft of a text. Right now I am having to hold the back button until the text is clear.

  2. Option to deactivate app auto-close

    When you reply to a text from the notification drop down, the app automatically closes when you hit Send. Sometimes you want to send more than one message and then you have to open the app again.

  7. Backup and restore blacklist

    I lose my blacklist when I install Textra on a new phone or when I reinstall after flashing a new ROM. Please provide a functionality to backup my text blacklist.

  10. Restrict usage to approved numbers only

    my nephew is special needs. he likes to send texts to subscribe to porn/random people. if you had a setting that would allow OUTGOING and incominG ONLY to APROVED NUMBERS, it would allow special needs kids to safely have their own phone. Also keep young kids safe. Mbrother is an expert in the it security industry, so could definitly promote rhe hell out of it.

  12. I dont like how it's a whole different app. Rather than the features not being an "Add-on" to the default messaging.

  13. Show all drafts

    Previous texting app had this. Basically, show all conversations you left with a draft. Sometimes you don't reply to a text at that moment; for example, you might dismiss a pop-up with a random bullshit draft just to get it out of your notifications. Or you might start a text you'll look at and maybe send later. But there's no way to quickly see all conversations you left with a draft.

  19. Improve sms character counter

    Its hard to use the way it counts forwards then after 110 characters or so it starts to subtract. I would like the option to enter a custom max sms charcter length in the settings and an option to split long sms'. Or an option to split sms' over your character limit, to make things easier
