  1. Support for System Themes

    Android (and Samsung) has the ability to change a theme across the entire operating system, so that the background images and colors are standard through the entire phone interface. Textra, however, does not support the implementation of the system theme. The app really needs the ability to do this, as it has so many other great features, but the UI is quickly getting boring and outdated compared to other apps on the market.   2. Textra for computer

    Is there a plan to develop a computer app to see texts while we're on the computer?
    I love your app, and that really would be great!

  3. Remove GPS info from pictures sent

    Would be great if there was an option to remove GPS info when sending out a picture. I'm sure many of us sell stuff on letgo, Craigslist, etc. and when you text over a pic, there is GPS info attached to it and could show the potential buyer where the item is. My concern is the ones that don't buy it and get the location of the item and then help themselves to it.

  7. Bring back Prefer Wifi feature

    I started using Textra because it gave me a work around for the MMS not sending over wifi anymore. What reason would there be to remove it? I know Sprint stopped offering the feature to force clients to use data. I am not data dependent. if i cant send MMS through wifi, i may be dropping the app for a different option.

  8. See conversations I haven't responded to

    Often times I have so many conversations going that I may forget to respond to someone after I read their message, and never remember to. So a way to filter for comversations that I haven't yet responded to would be great. Along with a way to set reminders to respond to a text that I can't currently respond to.

  10. permissions monitor bug

    My Samsung phone running Oreo has a nice permissions monitor to let you know if an app is being sketchy. However, it's on by default for Textra. I don't want to know every time it detects Textra using SMS - it's a texting app. I told it to use SMS. Easy enough to turn it off or just turn off SMS monitoring, whatever. Straightforward.

    The bug is that every time Textra updates, the monitor settings are all back on again. Small bug, but it's annoying to have to go back in and set the toggles for every update when every…

  16. Schedule messages X minutes from now

    The schedule feature works great, but if I'm messaging some grill I don't care about sending it a specific time, I just don't want her to know how desperate I really am. So an option to send a message like "15 mins from now" would be dope.

    pro user. definitely need option for group texting, add/remove feature etc. etc. love textra but room for improvement. if it's truly a "pro" app, it should reflect that. let's get on this before we all start to migrate to other apps
