Light Mode
a toggle between a light theme and dark theme so it's not gray/black all the time. and the ability to change the accent color of the app, instead of being stuck to blue

auto size bubble width for messages longer than a single line
Where a message is only one line the bubbles auto size so there is no blank space around the text, but when the message is more than one line the bubble is automatically the maximum width even when the full width is not needed. A change for this would be awesome!

There are some color schemes that force white or black color font. It would be nice to be able to choose what we want and be able to chose different colors

Frequently used emojis
change the recently used emoji page to a frequently used emoji page. this would enable you to see your most commonly used (by volume/frequency of use) rather than the Emojis used most recently (by time or last used). especially helpful to us parents of small children that like to text emojis, and now have a page full of random emojis 🤦🏼♀️

invert convo list
consider an option to invert the list of message conversations so that my thumbs are closer to the recent conversations

Specific Colors for Auto-theme Contacts
Users can choose which colors they want to be automatically applied to contacts or remove the colors they don't want used. It seems like same colors or similar colors are being auto-generated over and again and they're not colors I enjoy that much, but it's time consuming to manually change them all individually.

dual sim - denote sim 2 as seperate color
in dual sim phones, I love the ability to easily send messages from either sim. but it's almost too easily by inadvertently switching to sim 2. please have the icon for sim 2 as a separate color so it's obvious when the second sim is the "active".

Not an idea, but an issue.
All of a sudden I'm getting both the sound and the vibration when my ringer is on. Never used to vibrate as well. I turned off the vibration, but then get nothing when my ringer is turned off. Used to vibrate. What's up?

Block Range Of Numbers ... with exceptions
I would like to see a black list option for a range of numbers. Perhaps a group of numbers with an area code (or even an area code and NXX).
For example: (area) NXX-0000 thru (area) NXX-9999, but allow text from numbers in:
a) contacts within the ranges not already blocked individually
b) numbers in a white list (area) NXX-1200 thru (area) NXX -12995 votes -

Please allow blacklisting by keywords otherwise I can go back to android sms.
I keep getting spam from many different numbers but they all have hay Ermia or hi Ermia so give us the option of blocking spam with keywords.

So... Ive been thinking...
... I have never looked to see what this "Chomp thing is that I see you reference occasionally. Yeah, Im a typical dude every now and then. I have been a Textra pro user for a hot minute. I was thinking that the only thing that could really make it any better was more stylizing options. And I just read the description of Chomp. Don't worry, I actually have a good-ass question and idea coming your way.
The question is this: So, Chomp... What's wrong with it? Lol I mean, why create an awesome app and then the awesome competition…

Textra app for samsung gear watch
This is the best texting app on the market I would never use anything else. It is compatible with the Samsung gear but can you guys please develop an app for the Samsung gear. Please I'd even buy it again for the watch I love this app that much.

Send Delay
I think having a setting I could turn on or off that would keep a text from sending for like sixty seconds or longer so I could delete it if I have the wrong contact. it could end some embarrassing moments. this is probably something only in movies but I would also like a self destruct option

Simple editing options
Why it is not possible to copy a particular something from inside a received sms...?
I mean we receive codes from everywhere these days to validate accounts, demands, professional appointments etc etc.. But textra don't let us copy something else than the full message or nothing... Lame please change it!4 votes -
draft without contact
I used discontinued good old Sony messagging app, That allow to insert multiple draft without contact. So You can use te app as a Todo list or simply have a copyright and paste history list.

Notifs. contacts vs noncontacts
I'm getting a lot of spam texts lately. Is is possible to have a different notification sound for incoming texts from people not in my contacts list? I just got a string of spam texts and I jumped up thinking someone was urgently texting me, and it was just garbage. Argh. Thanks :)
