How to Import Contacts from Excel to Android without duplicates?
To import contacts from Excel to Android without duplicates, the easiest and safest way is to use a dedicated tool. Before importing, clean your Excel file by removing duplicate phone numbers or email IDs. Then use Excel to vCard Converter, which allows proper field mapping and avoids creating duplicate contact entries during conversion.
The tool converts Excel contacts into a single, clean vCard file that Android supports directly. Once the vCard file is imported into your Android phone, the contacts appear without repetition. This method is ideal for bulk imports and helps you import contacts from Excel to Android without…

iCloud to Google Workspace Migration: A Smarter Move for Collaboration
Migrating from iCloud to Google Workspace allows users to shift from a primarily personal storage solution to a professional productivity suite. While iCloud works well for Apple users, Google Workspace offers a broader range of collaboration tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, and Meet, making it better suited for business environments.
The migration process begins with data assessment and planning. Users need to identify emails, contacts, calendars, and files to be transferred. Having a backup in place is crucial to avoid data loss during the migration. This preparation ensures a smooth transition without disrupting workflows.
For individual users, a manual…

keep message box open
if I want to send more than 1 reply to a message why does the message pop up box go away? It should stay so I don't have to go back into the app to send a 2nd message

Color code messages/threads
Love Textra! I've been using it for ages. I think a good addition would be instead of just being able to color code the contacts name, make it so you can color code the whole "box" on the main screen. So work could be blue, family yellow etc... would be easier to find the group you want at a glance.

Can I Download All Photos from Google Photos without losing quality?
Yes, you can Download All Photos from Google Photos without losing quality, as long as you use the right method and settings. Google Photos stores images in their original resolution if they were uploaded in “Original quality,” and even photos saved using Google’s storage-saving option can be downloaded exactly as they are stored in the cloud. The key is choosing a safe and reliable download process.
One of the safest ways is Google Takeout, which exports photos exactly as they exist in your Google Photos account. When you download your data through Takeout, Google does not compress or resize images…

Choose default SIM to send from
Most other apps seem to default to whichever SIM is set as default for calls. But Textra insists on defaulting to SIM 1. I don't see any way to default to SIM 2.
I'd like to either have the option to choose default or else have it follow the default for calls.

Unread messages put at top
I think this used to happen, but it doesn't presently. If I have Pinned messages, any unread messages should be found directly below them, even if it's a continuing thread.

save deleted texts
save deleted texts longer than 15 sec. I didn't realize that I accidentally deleted a long string until it was too late. Important messages now gone forever

make MMS work again
MMS has been working sporadically and sometimes not at all for the past 5 days. Today I discovered that all received photos in my messages have disappeared, but ONLY in conversations between Android users. When I switched to Samsung Messages, all pictures showed up. Please contact me for details if needed. I love Textra, have used it for years, and paid for it. This is unacceptable.

The easiest way to export iPhone contacts to Excel file?
The easiest way to export iPhone contacts to Excel file is to first save the contacts in VCF (vCard) format and then convert that file into an Excel-compatible CSV format. Since Excel cannot read VCF files properly, trying to open them directly often leads to missing phone numbers, mixed fields, or unreadable data. Converting VCF to CSV ensures that all contact details are placed in proper columns that Excel can understand.
A simple and reliable approach is to use a dedicated VCF conversion tool such as MailConverterTools VCF to CSV Converter. It reads iPhone contact data accurately and converts it…

Cross-Tenant Migration with Real-Time Monitoring and Smart Automation
One of the biggest concerns during Microsoft 365 tenant migrations is visibility—knowing what's happening and when. During our recent merger, we adopted MailsDaddy Cross-Tenant Migration Service and found its real-time dashboard and automation tools incredibly helpful.
The platform allowed us to monitor every migration batch live, view detailed logs, and receive alerts in case of errors. It also had intelligent retry and resume features, meaning no progress was lost if something temporarily failed. Scheduling capabilities meant we could automate off-hours migration to avoid business-hour disruptions.
We moved thousands of mailboxes, along with OneDrive files and shared resources, all while maintaining…

Quick "Mark as Read" & Delete
Please add "Mark as read" and Delete in the notification drop-down options, so I don't have to go open the app and THEN do those. I'm 150% sure this would be a universally welcomed improvement!
