  1. OnePlus 12 auto select refresh rate plz request higher

    On my OnePlus it has the option to auto select refresh for it. however Textra does t request a higher refresh rate. so it defaults to 60 fps

    I don't want to set it to high in the settings for every app because that would drain the battery so please use android:preferredRefreshRate or something to make it request higher fps

  2. smoother scrolling

    compared to Google messages the scrolling in Textra is a bit choppy and low frame rate

    could you guys make the scrolling a little smoother and less bumpy?

  3. can you add more complete transition animations?

    when going to a conversation from the list it sort of fades in. but might be nice to fully slide in

  4. add motion blur JUST for the contact image bubbles when scrolling

    even on 90 hz and above the contact images seem to scroll in a blurry manner

    adding a slight motion blur or elongating then slightly when scrolling fast would solve this issue

    The fact that you guys got rid of customization for vibration notifications was bad enough. But, to make so it won't even follow the system's chosen pattern? The long bzzzzzzzzzz being literally the only option is downright ridiculous.

    Please introduce the option to set an alarm or reminder on a specifik text message. Simply pretend to resend the message to yourself later. Example, i receive notification about that my trash bin will be emptied tomorrow morning. i like to get this message again in the evening when i am home. then i can act on the message when i receive it again or hear the alarm.
    other example, my WiFe ask me to buy groceries at my way home. she send me message about this in the morning. i like to be reminded later in the day when…

  12. Available bubble appearance

    The available bubble appearance has too much paragraph indentation. This makes the SMS message long. When I set the font size to 115%, the effect of extending the message (down) is even greater. This makes it difficult to read. The paragraph indentation should be smaller.

  13. notification icons on top- BRING BACK COLORS NOTIFICATION COLORS NEEDED

    It used to be your notification icons at the top of your screen could be different colors depending on the person that you customized to have a particular icon and color.

    Google made some changes and only allowed white icons....it looks as though I have a couple of my icons for notifications in color back

    can we revert the option for Textra notification icons at the top of the screen

  14. undo/undelete messages

    please provide a way to undelete messages. If a user has a long thread with someone and accidentally deletes it (when you use the option to select multiple messages), there's no way to undelete, not to mention no confirmation message when deleting multiple messages.

  15. Locking conversations

    I think it would be great if there was a way to lock a specific conversation so that it couldn't be deleted inadvertently. I've deleted conversation so many times and there is no way to get them back. but if you could lock them so they couldn't be deleted inadvertently, that would be awesome.

    Your charges for pro versions is simply too much. It is itself a hindrance to people wanting to upgrade. Consider lowering it to reasonable amounts

  20. attaching images

    love this app! The only frustrating thing I've noticed is when attaching an image from gallery, it sucks to have to select the image, then the image opens and you have to select the circle in the upper right corner to attach it to the text 😐😐
