settings backup
Hello. IT would to have a settings backup feature. Either to SD or to a cloud I'm case one needs to reset his device to defaults.

Custom Background
Textra use is mainly due to the simplicity. But at least add a feature where it is an OPTION to customize the background. Those that don't want to use that feature don't have to. And from the looks of it, many of your consumers want this option. Are you going to flatly ignore the request of many customers who use your product?

When sharing from other app to Textra, display contacts from recent conversations, and not our contact favorites
Just like when you share to WhatsApp, or Facebook Messenger, or any other SMS app, it displays your most recent contacts/conversations to share to. Textra displays our contact list favorites, and it's annoying because you have to search for your contact each time. If I'm texting someone and I say oh wait let me send you a link, and share to textra, their name should be at the top of the list!

Screen and Bubble effects
Hi guy's, I seriously love your SMS app. For real that is the best of the Google Play Store, I've download some of the others that are on the Play Store, but nothing like this app that have a lot of features, personalization options, etc.

INLINE chat/bulk group messaging toggle
Recently, you added this toggle to the "customize this conversation" menu, as per community request. However, that request specifically asked for this toggle to be somewhere more easily accessible like in the text box next to the + icon. I'm opening a new idea in hopes that you properly fulfill the original request.

Black chat bubbles or option to remove bubbles
Black conversation bubbles. I use the black background and this would give the appearance of no bubbles. Or better still, an option to remove bubbles.

Textra to Textra Read Receipt
Would this be possible? Have a read receipt when someone who is also a textra user reads my text. I see the options already for sent and delivered but an option of read would be nice too.

Customizable Text Colors!

Emailing Forwarded Pictures
Hello!
I happened to run in a situation where I wanted to email myself a picture I received in a text message for work purposes.
I: Highlight the photos, click triple dot icon, share as email, clicked Gmail, and there the email was all set.It then doesn't send the actual picture though. It sends:
Conversation with zelklen (+1-000-000-0000)
[3/22/17 2:24 PM] zelklen: You received a picture.
For privacy, and sake of saying it, the number is replaced with Zero's to keep personal information confidential.
It sends the text notification that the phone would see to notify receiver a picture…

Ability to adjust the space between the text messages / bubbles
For example, if I want I can make the messages spaced out more or less. They can be practically on top of one another, or spaced out a little more depending on your personal preference

Edit photos before sending
For instance if you select a photo and want to add some doodle art onto it cirlce specific things add stickers or even filters. Stickers could be emojis based on the emoji you have installed for the app, a color changeable pen that can be adjusted for size and either funny filters or something to make the photo look better, have the option to make copy into gallery or discard edited version after sent, but still shows up under media in settings.

Shorten deletion process
It should not take 3 gestures to delete a conversation. 1 swipe, then press trash twice. Long press and then delete twice.
It should be swipe once press delete once.

Can we get a driving mode.
When your car blu tooth kicks on it identifies you as moving via gps your text automatically shuts off and when u get a text it sends an auto reply that u are driving or unavailable. Whatever u program. Then it allows those texts through once u reach your destination.
