  1. Time stamp and date

    I want every message to show the date and time under each message. I dont like having to scroll to the top to find the date or swip to the left to see the time. I want it simple and straight forward "right there" under every message like every other SMS app. OR i want the option to set it that way.

  2. 2 Finger Pinch: Change Don't Size

    As the title says, my phone's stock messaging app (as well as many others) offer the ability to change text size larger or smaller using the pinch/expand gesture, same motion as zooming in or out on a picture. Useful when sending screenshots, reading in bad lighting, or just on a whim.

  4. Message bubbles

    I think a lot of people will prefer some more padding around the messages to make the bubble a little more appealing to the eyes rather than something hugging the text really close.

  5. Implement Deleted Folder which is already common, so a must have standard among all msg apps alike

    Hi, recently dwnl 3-4 msg apps, one of which had feature that gave you an OPTION to decide if you want deleted texts to go to a folder so you don't lose them. (may be Goo Allo, or Dasher, but hoping it's you!) I deleted a text and would like to know if you can recover it, or if you could please implement a deleted FOLDER like many other apps offer, and like all emails do. It's a very common feature that should with common sense be already implemented in msg apps (text/email/chat/DM/etc). There is no reason not to, because…

  6. Bug report for Android: attachment button does not work properly

    Bug report: Android on Galaxy S5: when keyboard is closed, pressing the '+' to add an attachment changes the '+' to an 'x', but does not open the attachment options. I have to press the 'x' then the '+' again.

  8. Newer messages at the bottom

    Instead of having the newest chat always at the top of the list, I would prefer to have it at the bottom (ie. In reverse, so the higher up you go, the older the messages). This is way more user friendly especially when our phones are becoming bigger and bigger. This would be an option I would love to have!

  9. Only view mobile numbers

    The app sees every number in my contacts. It would be great if it only sees mobile numbers, since I can't text landlines.

  11. Auto reply option

    Would like to be able to schedule a time when I can't text, such as overnight, but if someone sends me a note, they get a auto reply saying I got their message and will respond when I can.

    Would be nice to add my own custom messages as well

    Hi i am using this app for texting..... Its awesome in UI and chating.... Comapred to stock it 1000% faster.... I want to give you idea that there should be any option to use custom background per chat screen.... It will look awesome....

    My tablet has its own designated phone number and I would like the message app to be textra.

    But it would also be incredibly convenient to make the cell app transferable to a tablet as well!

    First of all, can we have a list of all the commands the bot can currently understand? My idea is to add more commands so that it can be more interactive. In fact is it possible to write our own code and program the bot to do a few more things?

  17. View pictures taken within Textra larger before sending

    If you use the inbuilt Textra camera to take a picture all you get is a tiny thumbnail and clicking on it does not allow you to see it full sized.
    This makes it hard to figure out if you actually took a picture you want to send or not before sending.
