  4. pop up ads

    I swear if I have one more pop up ad open when I go to select the top message in this app and I click on it I'm going to scream! Seriously, just display it in the top slot 100% of the time, or let it scroll a few down and reset to the top before it leaves the screen. It's extremely infuriating to get conned into clicking on those things. I've already uninstalled in the past for this, and you changed it so I came back. I'm about a 16th of an inch from doing it again and never…

  7. pop message, read

    Currently, when a message pop up in notification you would have two options "Mark unread" or "reply".
    Instead of "Mark Unread", I would like to change it to "Mark Read".
    Most messages I get are short. There is no reason to not have this option available.

  8. Automatic Night Mode

    Automatic night mode should respond to whether or not Night Light is enabled. A light theme when Night Light is disabled and a dark theme when it is enabled.

  9. Text bubbles and shades of black

    The text message bubbles should synchronize when multiple texts are sent at the same time. For example: if three texts are sent at the same time, only one of those texts should have the tail and the others should just mesh with it like it does on What's App, IOS, and other text message apps. Love the app. I really like all the customizations, maybe another shade of black between pitch black and dark gray would be nice.

  10. Drunk mode!

    Hey Textra I have been a supporter of the app for several months and I love the app! I was wondering if you could add a "drunk mode" to the app which would make it impossible to text when in the mode! I've seen loads of people post about it and I thought it might be something fun to add to the app! :)

    when first launching Textra the menu bar blinks dark and then goes white. this does not happen when switching back to the app once launched. also should go dark to match dark themes. samsung galaxy s9.

  15. Ability to select all messages inside a conversation thread, or auto-delete messages older than a certain time.

    It would be nice to be able to select all messages inside a conversation instead of one by one like it is right now, so that I can then de-select the few messages i want to keep.
    It would be even nicer to add the function to auto-delete messages older than a certain time period (older than a month for example) so that the inbox is auto-maintained and we just lock messages we want to keep.

  19. Not marking all as Read

    When I get a message while on my phone, I'll swipe down look at it but then swipe it away to not see it again. By doing this is marks the message as read. That's fine until I forget about the message or I had initially read it on accident. I would like an option to not mark previewed message as read when I see them in the drop down. Other texting apps have to options when you swipe down on the message: Reply and Mark as Read. Textra only has Reply. This doesn't have to be for everyone but…

    messages.google.com is a really cool feature of the google sms app. it's nice having a keyboard to type messages.
