  1. Emoji Prompt

    i used to have Version +Messenger. i loved when i would type in a word like "dog", i would be prompted to choose a dog emoji if i wanted. it was such a handy thing instead of scrolling through emoji types (faces, objects, flags, etc) and then many screen just to find an emoji that represents "party" for example.

  3. add motion blur at 60 hz and turn that off at 120

    at 60 Hertz it looks kind of jittery so maybe add mild motion blur to smooth it out? And then when it detects 120 it can turn off the motion blur?

    add a feature that sync messages between devices with Textra installed. I have multiple devices and it would be helpful if I can receive messages on any device that I am currently using.

    Whatassp allows you to go back in the text you just sent and edit typos...

  9. Blocklisting should delete chat

    There should be a setting to automatically delete the chat when you blocklist someone. I couldn't figure out why all these political spam texts kept showing up even after blocklisting. You have to go into the contact and blocklist and then delete the spam text manually. It should be simpler.

  10. Automatically Delete messages by "word"

    Suggestion: with all the political spam prevalent today, an ability to automatically delete any sms that includes specific words in it's body would be a great and somewhat unique feature. For example, if the sms included the word "donate", the message would automatically be deleted (or could be sent to a spam folder).

    I really appreciate that Android users can react to messages like Apple users, but other than love, like, dislike, they're weird. Can there not be a "sad" or a "surprise" reaction? Thanks for your hard work!

    Some ringtone and notification for delivered messages would be great and useful. I hope that is not difficult to add. Everything else in the app is great. I wish you happy work and I send you a big greeting

  19. Bubble icons for pinned converstions

    It would be nice to have the option to make our pinned conversations into bubbles of the contact photo. Similar to how iMessage does it I think. Would help clear up some space for those who have the max number of conversations pinned

  20. Contact Customization Save Feature

    Every time I get a new phone, I have to set up all of my contact with their respective colors and text tones all over again. I'm surprised that Textra has not implemented a way to save these contact nuances to a user account to transfer seamlessly whenever switching to a new phone. This would be a game changer for Textra since the main appeal seems to be the customization options. Please find a way to save and remember these customization options. I'd gladly make an account or something to do so. Thanks.
