Notifications option like Samsung's
The only reason I used Samsung's awful messaging app was because it could do a small bubble showing me my texts without waking the rest of the screen. it also does this small bubble message popup when we get a text with screen on. this makes it very good at not obstructing what you're looking at. it also has a cool edge light effect when you get a message, but just the no waking the rest of the screen feature when display is off, would be fantastic!

One notification for a text-storms.
When receiving multiple texts from same contact e.g. 5 texts in a minute. Can we have one notification for the first text, and no notifications for the consecutive messages, but maybe show the notification as "5 messages from your ex".
I apologize if there is already a way to go about this.

Keep notification after inline reply
If you respond to a message via the notification's inline reply, the notification should stay in the tray so you can continue the conversation. That's the default behavior for most Android messaging apps!

Group Messages
Being able to have each contacts name applied with each message they send would be very helpful. Also being able to rename the group chat would be nice.

Sort messages chronologically despite thread
It would be like a story view, helpful with memory recall of where you were and what you did. Not a permanent sort option, because what a mess.. But a toggle of some kind where all texts withing a range of dates were layed out with minimal to/from info, date and time. One after another. This would help me and other people that have trouble with recall immensely.

Custom screen color
Would be helpful to have additional choice besides Light, Dark, Night. The entire colour palate which is available in other areas of customisation would be great!

love the icons on Galaxy AOD but would love if I could give different conversations different colors so I can tell at a glance if I want to check the message imediatly or not.

If I send or receive an email address or phone number in a text, I would like to be able to tap the email or number and have the option to use that function - like be routed to my email provider or my dial pad

Independent Notification Volume
customize notifications/ringtone/volume.
use system or adjust volume.I have one ringtone that is significantly louder than others. I would like to trim that volume. ( could fix the tone on the computer and reload). each tone has different volumes and frequencies that need adjusting.

spellcheck before sending.
is it possible to get a spellcheck before sending? so many of my texts dont make sense because of words misstyped, misspelled.
