    I absolutely love this app and have been using it for years now. it would be nice to have the feature to respond back to a text message with an emoji like the iPhone or messenger

  3. Remove me from a group chat

    Someone includes me in a group chat I don't want to be in. I know I can blocklist the chat, but is there a way to remove myself from the thread using my phone?

  4. Folders

    I think a cool feature to implement would be folders to organize our messages. Also works to keep some separate from others. I think stock messaging has this.

  5. 4.74 Option to use Old Image Selection

    The new method introduced in 4.74 increases the possibility of a misclick very noticeably. Before if I wanted to send an image I would just click on it. It was quick and efficient. Now I have to press a small bubble and then confirm I only want to send one image, and then send the message. It doesn't seem like a very positive improvement to UX.

  9. Ability to Organize Chats into tab groups

    Samsung msgs has this, and I think google does too. It'd be nice to be able to sort chats into tabs like "Friends", "Family" & "Work" for example, so you're not constantly looking at a big wall of chats on the main page.

  14. talk to text punctuation.

    Used to be able to say question mark to get this ? when talk to text was used. Previously could say full stop get get a full stop. In the US, called a period. But it is gone now. what happened?

    I NEED to be able to have my message bubbles back. the ability to have my messages constantly handy on my screen no matter what I'm doing is essential because I always either forget my messages or don't hear them and don't reply. With the pop up it would eliminate that issue

  17. use existing group chat as template

    If I want to start a new chat with 20 people, I have to enter all 20. It would be really nice to be able to grab a chat that has 17 of those people and use it as a template for a new chat and just add the missing 3. Or, find the that has those 20 plus a couple of more and use that as a template to remove the extras.

    The chat history doesn't need to be preserved, just the list of recipients.

    Idk about the rest of y'all, but fuck Goo-gal, I miss TF outta the old COLOR notifications Textra used to have whenever you wud receive a text.
    I realize Google is the one responsible for the change, but is there ANY WAY @ ALL to be able to work around the change to be Able to once again receive the color lil icons n' shit?? lol 👀😬😬🙏
